We're continuing our fight to end period poverty in Hawai'i, particularly among our students who remain one of the most vulnerable groups in our community. We're hopeful that this time, our bill for schools to provide free menstrual products will pass.

You’ve been on this mission w/ us (to end #PeriodPoverty in schools) since 2019. The bill to provide FREE period products in schools has a lot of traction going into this legislative session 🤞🏻 #EndPPinHI #808Educate
Menstrual equity is a matter of #genderjustice. A national study found that students who are unable to afford menstrual products are six times more likely to be absent or late. To deliver a quality education for all students, we should make menstrual products free in all schools.
