$GLXY I liked the majority of what I heard on the earnings call today. It's good to see the Helios I revenue finally hit the books. I like the conviction shown by the expanded buybacks. DA side still seems pretty nebulous to me without a well articulated path to future earnings. DC side is the obvious driver of near term value. The risk that was understated on the call but I believe is part of the reason they don't have a tenant for Helios II is the possbile effect of the upcoming election. The governors race appears to be very close. A democratic win could result in a delay in energization for phase 2 in 2027 as the governor could extend or expand current orders to the PUCT, ERCOT and TCEQ. Air permits with the TCEQ are still pending. Would Coreweave accept data halls without permitted backup generation? Ferraro says they "do not currently expect" to be affected since their current permits predate the batch system. This is a hedge and not a guarantee and I'm not convinced that the rules could not change or be delayed under a new governor. Costs related to any delays in turning over the data halls to Coreweave would be eaten by Galaxy. All this to say, I like Galaxy's position relative to peers and think they have executed well on the DC side, but there are still great risks until the political and regulatory landscape is decided.
$GLXY News article out of the Texas Spur last month showing Dickens county commissioners approval of tax abatements for Galaxy Helios phase 2 and 3. I think the approval as well as the agreements show that Galaxy is committed to supporting the local community and has developed a good relationship with its residents. The fact that not one resident showed up in protest is in stark contrast to many other communities that have actively opposed data center development. Nice job Galaxy!
Summary:
On Sept. 14, 2026, the Dickens County Commissioners Court approved tax abatement agreements for Galaxy Digital's Helios AI Phase II and Phase III data centers in northern Dickens County, next to the operating Phase I.
Phase II: About a $2 billion project due by Jan. 1, 2029. Galaxy pays $2.75M a year in lieu of taxes for 10 years starting in 2027, keeps at least 30 full-time jobs, and names a local hiring coordinator.
Phase III: About a $1 billion project with a $1.5M annual payment in lieu of taxes and 15 full-time jobs.
Housing: One-time payments of $3.5M (Phase II) and $1.75M (Phase III) go to the new Dickens County Economic Development Corporation, mainly for new housing.
Local benefit (new): $400K a year for 10 years goes to five affected entities: the cities of Spur and Dickens, Spur ISD, Patton Springs ISD, and a valley water corporation.
Nonprofits: A separate $300K pool goes to nonprofits nominated by county officials, with $100K available up front.
Roads and safety: Galaxy will limit disruption to county roads and repair any damage, and it agreed to safety, environmental, and noise-abatement terms.
$GLXY Galaxy has been very proactive in their acquistion of mineral rights waivers including these 28 in the last year in Dickens county alone for Helios. Their team in Afton lead by @austorms is top notch. Contrast this with other companies who claim to be building in west Texas but have no such filings give you an idea of who's really building and who's pretending.
Replying to @chamath
@grok how does @galaxyhq fare based on this analysis? Will @novogratz and team be able to execute on time?
$GLXY Wow, if only all CEO's would take the time to summarize and clarify various aspects of their business in order to educate, inform and reassure current and possible shareholders... *cough* @novogratz *cough*
$SLNH I'm picking up some shares at this level for the fun of it. I previously sold around $1.30 but there's definitely something brewing not only at Kati but at Dorothy as well. I found this stormwater permit filed by STX-01 a Soluna affiliate that was filed last month with the TCEQ showing a building project at the Briscoe Wind Farm that has a completion date of 6/2027. The significance of this is that they were able to file before govenor Abbott's permit moratorium order which means they can start grading, pouring foundations etc. The contractor on the project is Century Builders which, according to their website, has a data center division. They are also the contractor's on $APLD Ellendale AI project. Things seem to be in place, all we need is the contract announcement! centurybuildersnd.com/projec…
$GLXY Add me to the list. I dumped my entire Galaxy position on the last pump over $27 a few weeks back and haven't looked back. When a CEO makes inaccurate public statements that move markets and then not only can't be bothered to explain why his statements were not met but then seemingly actively trolls his shareholders with "end of summer" posts on social media, he simply can not be trusted. I gave him the benefit of the doubt on Luna but its now obvious that this behavior is either a pattern of poor character, tone deafness or incompetance. Its interesting that someone who constantly virtue signals on social media, then holds himself to no standards of honesty to his own shareholders. In the end, despite the company seemingly executing well in many areas, I simply can not separate the company from its awful CEO. It all starts from the top and the top is rotten at Galaxy.
I hope @novogratz reads Danny’s post below. There have been countless loyal retail investors that have stuck with @galaxyhq over the years and defended backing the guy with the Luna tattoo. But most seem to be either leaving outright or trimming their positions, and rightfully so.
- Nasdaq is at 52 week high. We have a great backdrop to capitalize on AI datacenters and crypto becoming the rails. Yet here we are.
- Other mgmt teams are 100% focused on their companies and promoting them. Novogratz seems to operate more as a family office and spends his time dabbling in nonprofits, political podcasts, personal investments. And I don’t blame him-if I had the money I’d run a family office/enjoy life too. But I also wouldn’t be one foot in and one foot out as the CEO of a publicly traded company while speaking about random topics.
- Without much communication it feels from the outside that Galaxy has become a jack of all trades/master of none and we are being surpassed by both the more nimble/focused teams and the big boys.
- The stock remains incredibly undervalued due to all of the reasons above: complex conglomerate business, CEO missteps/lack of focus, and lack of communication with that swag!!
- I fully understand retail investors on x likely represent less than 5% so pleasing them shouldn’t be a focus of mgmt. But novo always says community is critical in this space…Perception is reality and the perception is not great.
- Please prove everyone wrong Novo. Hit us with that blowout Q3, sign up that new tenant at monster margins, announce new partnerships, talk about setting the stage for splitting the companies, or surprise us all and sell the company outright to strategics. And please stop with the wild political posts which add zero value.
Stock Down. Guns Up!! $GLXY
$GLXY End of summer….crickets, chirp chirp…. You really are going to just ignore that? You really don’t think you owe anything more than silence to all those who have supported this company since before NASDAQ? Okay.
Last Friday, I visited our flagship campus Helios in West Texas. Three years ago, this was still a bitcoin mining facility. Today Helios is a fully operational AI-ready campus with 133MW of critical IT capacity, and we’re just getting started!
@galaxyhq is taking a big swing out here, and so is America. The move to build an AI future for this country is real, and none of it happens without the physical infrastructure. It starts with power, land, and hard-working people willing to put in the work to build a new future.
Our partnership with @TechAthletics with Galaxy Stadium is part of investing in the local community and workforce pipeline right here in Texas. Guns up!!
$GLXY “More to come with tokenized Galaxy” With all due respect, how can anyone take anything you say seriously with your track record of “by July 4th, or end of summer”, “prison reform” for a pedophile and all the other completely assinine statements made while your company has had abysmal performance since Nasdaq? Tokenization seems to be just the latest train leaving the station without Galaxy on board despite them being so called “pioneers”. Completely pathetic and the worst part is the CEO just doesn’t GAF.
Thank you @SECPaulSAtkins @HesterPeirce @MarkUyedaUS for leading on digital asset policy !!! Innovation exemption moves tokenization ahead. Proud to be first on Nasdaq to tokenize shares. More to come with tokenized $GLXY !
$GLXY Honestly, could this dude be any more tone deaf? WTF did I invest in?
This quoted post is unavailable.
$GLXY No deal and pumping a shitcoin is not how I expected this summer to end.
$GLXY I would agree. They are either pumping some meme coin apparently endorsed by the CEO who's otherwise gone silent for the last few months or they are putting out the buzzword salad headlines about deals that seem promising but contain 0 explaination as to how they bring value to shareholders. Does anyone really understand how Galaxy makes $$$ from these?
$GLXY Dear Taylor. Is this the type of engagement we should expect from the "new" investor relations team?
Sincerely, Concerned shareholder.
We are excited to welcome Taylor Reinhardt as Galaxy’s new Head of Investor Relations.
Taylor joins Galaxy from Perella Weinberg with prior experience at Apollo Global Management and Teneo, bringing deep investor relations expertise as Galaxy continues to grow across digital assets and AI infrastructure. She will play a key role in engaging with shareholders and the broader investment community as the Company enters its next phase of growth.
Welcome, Taylor!
$SLNH To all investors or potential investors in Soluna, I suggest you read this article and fully understand the implications and precedent setting case that it represents. Is a BTM net metering arrangment possible? Yes. Thats the good news. What it requires specifically under Texas SB6 for a site like Kati 2 is very specific and I suggest you investigate yourself and determine if Soluna is capable of meeting the necessary requirements. This is in addition to them being subject to the batch system, which has not been determined.
Specifically understand the implications of this:
"In its July 24, 2026 order, the PUCT rejected the proportional mitigation proposed by Ensign, Crusoe, and Goodnight Wind, and agreed with ERCOT and PUCT. The PUCT held that the primary objective curtailment conditions pursuant to PURA § 39.169 is to ensure that the existing generation facility's capacity is made fully available to the ERCOT grid during actual (or anticipated) transmission emergencies."

$GLXY Just watch out for this 😁

Seems like we have to wait a little bit longer regarding the Batch Zero classification. More clarity later this week.
