GTA 6 is listed as a 210GB download on PlayStation 5, according to PlayStation Game Size. That figure comes from the account’s tracking of PS Store backend data. The actual space it occupies on the SSD may be smaller, but the download itself will still clear 200GB. The size lines up with the game’s highly detailed open world, large number of side activities, and long cinematic story. It is not dramatically larger than some of the biggest current PS5 titles, such as Call of Duty with multiple modes installed. Those at least let players uninstall unused portions. Pre-loading begins on 12 November, a week before the 19 November launch.

A month after launch, Dressmaker has roughly 17,500 reviews at 98% positive and still averages more than 15,000 concurrent players. Sabrina Becker, co-creator at Cozy Lives, said they were “definitely targeting women from the get-go.” Becker says women are an underserved market who love games but often skip them because too few titles match their interests. She pointed to the steady audience for dress-up games on Roblox, including adult women, as evidence of the demand. The team treated dressmaking as a stereotypically feminine interest and leaned into that tone on purpose, with male players as a welcome side effect.

Resident Evil executive producer Jun Takeuchi says the series’ main story has a planned ending that could arrive in the next 10 years. He told Yahoo Japan the narrative was never fully mapped from the start and grew with each new game. A 10-year branding concept was set while working on the Resident Evil 2 remake. With Requiem released this year, Takeuchi said that first stretch of the plan now feels finished. He added there will be multiple titles before the conclusion, not just one. The timeline puts a clearer end date on a story Capcom has been expanding for nearly three decades.

Rockstar Games staff have locked in a union recognition vote that runs from 12 to 26 November. Those dates sit on either side of Grand Theft Auto 6’s release window. If it passes, the Rockstar Game Workers Union says it would become the largest recognised union in the UK games industry. Rockstar’s head of publishing Jennifer Kolbe recently told Bloomberg, “we go where the team goes. So if they want a union, they will have a union.” The vote also overlaps the final days of an employment tribunal over the 2025 firing of more than 30 staff. The union has called the firings union-busting. Rockstar has said they were for misconduct. November now packs the union vote, the GTA 6 launch, and the tribunal’s closing arguments into the same few weeks.

Discord is letting messages from its biggest public servers show up in Google. Discoverable Servers already let anyone join without an invite. Discord says the useful answers that used to live on forums are now stuck inside them. Public channel posts can start appearing in search results and on new server pages from mid-December. Names and avatars stay off. Users and admins can both turn it off before the rollout starts. A search for a build or guide can now surface a real reply from the community, then open Discord right where the conversation is.

Capcom’s first-half results show a new IP and a long-dormant series both landing while the back catalog does the heavy lifting. Pragmata, Capcom’s original sci-fi title, has sold 2.7 million copies. Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the first mainline entry in 20 years, has reached 1.7 million and pushed the series past 11 million total. Resident Evil Requiem is past 8 million. Catalog sales hit 32.18 million units, up from 22.85 million a year earlier, and total units reached 36.86 million. Operating profit rose 54.5%. New releases are still driving volume, but the bigger lift is coming from older games that keep selling once a fresh title draws people back in.

PS5 users are finding unknown child accounts added to their PSN family lists without permission. Several say it happened even with 2FA on. Some also got emails about sign-in ID or email changes they never made. A few describe the accounts as appearing from overseas. Sony told Sankei Shimbun it is investigating. No broader statement yet. Reports go back to early October. Child accounts can’t be removed as easily as adult ones under Sony’s rules, so cleanup is slower for affected users.

Blue Archive is moving its Japanese publishing from Yostar to Nexon in January 2027. NEXON Games stays the developer. Nexon says the switch brings publishing under the same group that develops the game. Accounts, items, and Pyroxene carry over. The transfer page opens in November, with maintenance in January. The game is being consolidated under its developer’s parent company rather than kept with a separate publisher.

Sony Network Communications says unauthorized access on October 19 exposed roughly 2.58 million member records from So-net and plala. The leaked data covers names, phone numbers, emails, user IDs, birth dates, and gender. Bank account details were also taken in 16 cases, and email passwords for about 54,000 addresses were compromised. Credit cards were not affected. The company stopped the targeted server and blocked the source after confirming the breach on October 23. Most of the risk sits in the personal data, not the bank details. That volume of names, emails, and phone numbers makes phishing and account recovery attacks the more immediate problem. Sony Network is contacting affected users while it investigates the cause. Services remain online.
