Everyone says a design sprint should take 5 days, but let's be realistic – it’s almost impossible. 🧵 Here’s our adjusted 3-day design sprint plan (it’s 40% shorter, but if everyone’s well-prepared, it only feels about 5% less effective than the classic one):

Day 2: Sketch solutions & select the best. Morning: Sketch ideas independently. Afternoon: Present sketches & use dot voting to choose the best. Outcome → Selected sketches addressing the main problem.

Day 3: Prototype Create a clickable prototype to show users & validate ideas. Outcome → Proceed with the sprint, test with users, fix & iterate. No need for the co-founder during user calls. Voilà, a 3-day design sprint instead of 5! Thoughts? #DesignSprint #Agile #UXDesign

Pro tip for UX designers: Once a week, pick a day, open the App Store, and check the "featured by Apple" section. Spend 30 minutes exploring 1-2 top apps. Look at Auto Sleep Tracker, Temu, Threads—even if you don't need them, it’s good to see what millions of people use.

After a couple of months, you'll start to unconsciously use these patterns as references and improve your own onboarding, micro-animations, navigation, enhanced contrast, fonts, etc. By doing this every week, you'll review 56 top apps in a year. WDYT? #uxui #uxdesign

Have you ever thought about the kinds of cars the Chinese are producing? It's unreal. There are so many brands, from luxury convertibles to Range Rover and Land Cruiser copies. It's mind-blowing. What's surprising is that their sales are just as impressive.

In various usability tests and interviews, many drivers said Tesla is the number one EV. But... while Tesla sold a bit over a million cars, Chinese manufacturers have sold over 30 million — 30 times more. Graph credits: Jetstyle agency

I just spoke with Porsche AG and the 3D team at Mercedes-Benz AG, and it turns out Europe is really concerned about Chinese manufacturers capturing a big chunk of the market. #automotive #tesla #ev #china

🧵Over the past 7 years, I’ve checked 1300+ CVs, and our turnover rate is pretty low. How? Clear job descriptions. My hiring funnel: 1. Write a clear job description including day-to-day responsibilities (pro tip – this list is a checklist for the employee test period).

2/ Set up a @Google Form/@typeform instead of @LinkedIn Easy Apply: this way, you can aggregate candidates from different sources: LinkedIn, your website's career section, your posts on X, etc.

We’ve talked to dozens US doctors. Many said Apple Vision Pro would be great for showing patients their treatment. Now, it's transforming healthtech! Example: @Stryker’s Mako SmartRobotics app helps surgeons plan surgeries, how cool is that? #Apple #VisionPro #HealthTech

When the former CEO of Dribbble says, "Invest in high-quality designers!"... you invest in high-quality designers.
According to a study by Stanford University, 94% of first impressions are design-related. Within 50 milliseconds, a poorly designed website can turn potential customers away before they even have a chance to explore your products or services. Invest in high-quality designers!

FYI: in February, @Porsche set a new U.S. record for electric cars at Laguna Seca with their new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT. Engineers used the @Apple Vision Pro to track everything in real time. Imagine watching @F1 with it.. Video: Apple #VisionPro

The best apps on Apple Vision Pro: 1. @Webex by @Cisco: Meetings w/ Spatial Audio. 2. @Box: files and 3D content. 3. Flowriter: writing in AR. 4. Numerics: A 3D dashboard. P.S. Still haven’t seen many of them in real use, no surprise given the current pricing Pic: @cynapse

1/ We're looking for new designers, and I have a cool trick to quickly check if they're the right fit. I ask them two simple questions: 1. In which tasks do you typically outperform your colleagues? 2. Why do you think you outperform your colleagues in these tasks?

3/ → Check if the person fits well with the team, seeing if they're more self-centered or if they can effectively work with others. What's your trick? #hiring #designer #designjobs #hiringdesigners

2/ The answers to these questions help me: → Find out what kind of work the person thrives on—they should be assigned exactly those tasks (people will never mention something they DON'T enjoy doing).
