I was browsing the app and I noticed something concerning. Yoruba land has been seriously infiltrated not only through politics or migration but also through marriage. Yoruba is in serious trouble. I’ve seen videos where they’re actively encouraging their men to marry Yoruba women, claiming that their women already have Yoruba men on lockdown. Another factor contributing to this marriage trend is the soft landing of inheritance in Yoruba land. While these people marry Yorubas, they often teach their children nothing Yoruba but their own ways of life. That’s why you will see Gbadebo behave like Chidi For example, check out the quoted post. The woman is Igbo and Tiv, but her parents erased the Tiv side and kept the Igbo side. The same thing happened to the famous basketball player Giannis. His Yoruba side was erased, leaving only the Igbo side. Even the politician GRV was the same, erasing the Yoruba side and keeping the Igbo side. This pattern continues. Yoruba people need to be very aware. We are the ones who marry other tribes in large numbers, yet these people still claim we’re tribalistic. We allow non-Yorubas into our lands in large numbers, yet they still say we’re tribalistic. They keep saying this because they want us to keep proving ourselves that we’re not tribalistic so they can keep taking advantage of us by keep giving them, letting them be free to do any illegality in Yoruba land while they collect and collect and collect. I was thinking about this yesterday that its been a while I've seen activities of bandits and terrorists like it used to be before. Something is going right and hopefully insecurity is brought to a total halt in Nigeria.
JUST IN: Nigeria 🇳🇬 Military records 73% drop in attacks across the country

We went from getting suspended from international financial markets to contactless payment in under 3 years. Again, I assume you are brainwashed if you believe this government has failed economically.
Google wallet is officially in Nigeria and it worked.

I wouldn't blame him for saying this. There's no way you can try to market a man who governed a small state for eight years without any tangible and enduring legacy, that you won't sound like an illiterate.
Peter Obi will crash dollar to N500, slash bread to N800, rice to N27,500 if elected — Pat Utomi vows Political economist Pat Utomi has said the presidential campaign of Peter Obi and the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is proposing to strengthen the naira to N500 against the dollar if elected in 2027. Utomi disclosed this in a post on X, explaining that the exchange-rate target forms part of the party’s economic blueprint aimed at tackling inflation, reducing poverty and restoring Nigerians’ purchasing power. According to him, the proposed naira appreciation would be supported by investments in security, electricity and road infrastructure, as well as structural reforms designed to make the economy more competitive. He projected that the plan could trigger significant reductions in the prices of essential commodities. Under the proposed programme, a loaf of sliced bread currently selling for about N1,750 could fall to N800, while a 50kg bag of imported rice could drop from N55,000 to N27,500. A medium-sized yam, he said, could reduce from N2,400 to N1,200, while a 50kg bag of maize could decline from N75,000 to N37,500. Plantain could fall from N2,500 to N1,250, while a whole chicken could drop from N7,000 to N3,500. Utomi also projected that a dozen eggs could sell for N1,150 instead of N2,300, while a painter of garri could drop from N1,300 to N650. He added that petrol and cement would also become cheaper. “We are convinced that targeting a strategic appreciation of the exchange rate by reasonably strengthening it from ₦1,350/$ to ₦500/$ as part of our manifesto is a winning strategy,” he said. “It offers a direct, multi-faceted approach to curbing inflation, reducing poverty, and lowering the cost of living.” Utomi added that the proposal represents the party’s “concrete plan to uplift the 140 million Nigerians currently experiencing multi-dimensional poverty.” However, he did not state when the N500/$ target would be achieved or provide details of the monetary and fiscal measures required to sustain such an appreciation.

Except something is genuinely wrong with you or you're just trying to gather traffic to your page, I don't see how and why you'll want a man that doubled poverty in the second smallest state of Anambra after eight years as the governor to come and preside over Nigeria. You just can't be serious.
I won’t be voting for Peter Obi in this coming election. I’ve thought about it, and if we are being truthful, Tinubu is actually working. He deserves a second tenure to finish the good work he has started. Now I see what APC members are seeing. Wow.

We were not running a country and like I always say ... President Tinubu came late.
Big news this week on PenCom: President Tinubu has cleared ALL outstanding pension liabilities - nearly N1 trillion (N758bn Pension Bond). PenCom DG Omolola Oloworaran announced it Oct 28-29 at National Pension Week in Abuja, theme "Pension for All": What was cleared: - Backlog accumulated for almost 20 years - arrears dating back to early 2000s - Accrued rights for retirees under Contributory Pension Scheme - President said: "Pension is not a favour, it's a wage earned, deferred and held in trust" Result now: - Retirees now get their pension within 48 hours of retirement (if documents complete) - before people waited almost 2 years - FG introduced Pension Boost 1.0 + N32,000 consequential adjustment - highest ever at federal level Next steps starting November 2026: 1. PennCare Health Initiative - health insurance for low-income retirees (30,000 pilot already) 2. Minimum Pension Guarantee - provision in Pension Reform Act 2014 that was never implemented for 11 years, Tinubu says will now be honoured Tinubu was represented by SGF George Akume at Transcorp Hilton summit yesterday. You might want to unfollow, mute or block me if you have a problem with any of the following: I am a Muslim, an unapologetic one. A Muslim first, before anything else. I am a Yoruba man from Ilorin. I don’t do politics, but I strongly believe Obi isn’t the right person to lead Nigeria. I believe every other candidate is a better option. I don’t tweet based on emotions, and you won’t find me defending injustice against any religion, gender, tribe or group. I don’t also subscribe to the man-supporting-man mentality. I try to be as objective and fair as possible in my opinions and interactions. Lastly, I am a construction professional: a Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and Lecturer. I have extensive experience across the delivery of end-to-end construction projects, and you’ll enjoy the insights I share about the construction industry. Thank you. My name is Habeeb.

After all, if he had saved the money in the bank, those Lekki toll gate insurrectionist wouldn't have seen the buses to burn down thereby setting the state backwards by hundreds of millions of naira.
Why did Governor Sanwoolu waste so much money on buying many BRT busses and building train stations? Money that he should have kept in banks to generate interest.

If you want insecurity to end in the North, you and your people know what to do.
“I give Tinubu from today until January 15, 2027, to end the killings across North. If he succeeds, I will vote for him and encourage my people to do the same.” — Bafarawa challenges Tinubu to restore security in the North if he wants their votes.

GOD KNOWS HOW TO HUMBLE THE PROUD AND CORRECT THE MISINFORMED! Is this not the same man who indirectly referred to Nyesom Wike as a modern-day Nebuchadnezzar during the political controversies surrounding the 2020–2023 period? The same religious leader who repeatedly raised issues against Wike when he was Governor of Rivers State and continued criticising him over political differences? Today, life has presented another lesson. Pastor Paul should understand that no matter how many followers we command, whether 50,000 or 100,000, we are all human beings who depend on God's grace. No pastor should ever assume that he is more righteous than others or use the pulpit to poison citizens' minds against people or governments simply because of political disagreements. I have always maintained that God can use anybody, including your perceived enemy, to change your story, fulfil your destiny and contribute to the development of a nation. When Wike refused to support Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential election, some religious leaders turned their political disagreement into a campaign of condemnation against him. Even APC-supporting bishops, including some of us, were publicly criticised on church television. Yet today, the same Wike, whom they once condemned, has become instrumental in advancing a project that Pastor Paul reportedly proposed in 2018 but could not secure approval for. Today, through the same Wike, that project is receiving government attention, including a reported commitment to fund half of its budget and provide electricity for the project. What a lesson in humility! Never mistake political disagreement for personal hatred. Never turn religious influence into a weapon of political intimidation. Never condemn someone today because you do not know how God may use that same person tomorrow to answer your prayers. This lesson is for pastors, politicians, traditional rulers, religious leaders and every Nigerian. Nobody is too powerful than God.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as Africa’s most hated, most attacked, most castigated, and most vilified politician who nevertheless remained humble, persistent, undaunted, and strategically focused. Against all odds, he endured and was ultimately crowned. You may not want to hear that he will be crowned again — but that is the reality.

I know how much hard work it takes to keep a small business running in Nigeria. From raising capital to paying workers and buying equipment, our entrepreneurs face challenges that government must continue to address. Today, Vice President Kashim Shettima received, on my behalf, representatives of MSMEs from across the country, along with the Minister of State for Industry and the heads of SMEDAN, NEXIM, NEPC, and ITF. We have approved ₦200 billion in grants and financing support for small businesses and manufacturers. I want to see more of our entrepreneurs access the capital they need to grow. I am also pleased that the Office of the Vice President, working through the Special Adviser on Job Creation and MSMEs, is expanding its engagement with business owners. The Vice President-led quarterly meetings must give entrepreneurs a real say in our decisions and ensure that commitments are followed through. I thank the MSME representatives for their visit and their confidence in our administration. We have more work to do, and I intend to see it done. BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR PRESIDENT

I am grateful to Almighty Allah for the privilege of performing Umrah here in Saudi Arabia. This is a deeply spiritual moment for me, and an opportunity to offer prayers for our beloved country, Nigeria, and all our people. May Almighty Allah accept our prayers and supplications, grant our nation lasting peace, strengthen our unity, protect our people, and bless our collective efforts to build a more prosperous Nigeria. May He grant us wisdom and strength in the service of our nation and accept our Ibadah. Ameen.

President Tinubu came late, but better late than never.
Asiwaju! Bosses of all Bosses. No politician in this era could have pulled this off. The bill was sent to the States on September 16th; it is barely a month, and I am confident it will become law before the end of the year. This is the same country where the PIB which didn't require a constitutional amendment, took 22 years to pass.
