Mother of God. Nobody wants to be trapped inside Trump’s made-up porn fantasy—not Melania, not the audience, and certainly not the rest of us. “I said, ‘Melania, how great was I, baby? Was I great? Can anybody do it like I do? How good was it?’” Nobody asked for Fifty Shades of Trump. The man has turned presidential discourse into a tawdry little vanity production, with himself as the conquering hero and Melania cast as his personal applause machine. Donald, keep your fantasies off the public stage. We’re already suffering enough. 🙄

That school and its former students have been a problem for this country when it comes to misuse of public funds!

I have solar panels on my house and none of my neighbors complain during the summer when I’m handing out free squirrel burgers.

How did the Fundamental Change get us here?
Dear Gen. Saleh, an apology to Dr Besigye and the country will suffice Gen. Saleh, that against all the inconsistencies, the more prudent, more strategic thing to do is a heartfelt public apology. Tell Ugandans that you and co. acted on fake intelligence (and there are men in jail already) and are truly sorry. It could be a recorded message or a live broadcast on UBC. As the co-president, you have been throughout these 40 years, you are able to speak on behalf of your team and the country will believe you. As soon as the broadcast is completed, release all these men immediately. Let them return to their families. Let them receive urgent medical care they so badly need. This would be an absolute moment of truth and reconciliation – perhaps the one you are aspiring for in attempting to offer an olive branch to Dr Besigye, the one he is rejecting. observer.ug/viewpoint/dear-g…

Why does the @ODPPUGANDA see the need to spin? This incident didn’t happen at The Alchemist. It happened after they left the establishment. This incident happened on the evening of 8th October 2026. As per eye witnesses, the Assistant DPP entered the Alchemist with a female companion, sat at the bar and they took beers together. They left together while holding hands. This was around midnight. As is usually the case on Bandali, folks park their cars along the streets and walk to whatever bar they want. Sometimes, we visit 5 bars on that street before we call it a night. Mr Alex Bagada’s car was not at the Alchemist bar. It’s possible he parked away, got a car hire there or walked into his babe’s car and they drove off. Perhaps that’s where his assailants then drugged him and robbed him. Over at #KalebuleHQ, we don’t have any information as to whether bro smashed prior to being robbed or if they took him out before. We however call for a full and thorough investigation and hope that Mr Bagada gets justice.

The "Economics that WHACKS" dude, @rggoobi used to say things! Now he is in the regime telling us to eat boiled chapati while tripling the per diem for regime officials, & wasting billions on their cars, clothes, fuel, & houses on our bill! A disingenuous lot in suits!

Thanks to the folks at @Uganda_LII for making the Hansard readily and widely available. Now we can find quick entries on the issues. Below is an extract on the Gen. Elwelu situation. Be sure not to laugh at the irony of then Speaker Anita Among’s quip when Mr Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda brought the issue to the floor of @Parliament_Ug In the Hansard of Tuesday, 13 May 2025, page 17240 (PDF page 6), Hon. Ssemujju referred to Lt. Gen. Elwelu twice: “Lt Gen. Elwelu, there, was called ‘a buffoon’ by the CDF. -(Laughter)- One by one -” Later in the same contribution, he stated: “Lt. Gen. Elwelu is about to run away. I do not know whether Gen. David Muhoozi sits in his office comfortably. The minister for defence, the other day, was here. So, we have all become victims of this one man called Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. This Parliament must find a solution.” The Speaker responded: “At least, I am not a victim – honourable members, what we need to look at is: where does that information come from? On social media, anybody can post anything, anytime. Next item.” These were Ssemujju’s statements recorded in Parliament, rather than findings made by the House. You can find that Hansard record here: ulii.org/en/akn/ug/doc/parli… Just scroll to Page 6.

General Elwelu is said to have been mobilizing through the nearly defunct Arrow Boys structures. He’s said to have transported 84 fighters to the Namanve area a few months back. He’s said to be still on the run. His wife is said to have been taken into military custody.

Let him go build it on his nether black forest!
"Ugandans shouted, yet I had planned to bring development to Kampala. I now give up on City Square," said businessman Hassan Bulwadda. His statement comes after the Cabinet halted a contentious plan to redevelop Constitution Square into a commercial real estate complex, bringing an end to a high-stakes tug-of-war over Kampala’s premier green space and historic landmark. Mr. Bulwadda had sought to construct an eco-friendly complex featuring a high-end hotel, a shopping mall, and solar-powered amenities on the two-acre property. When The Pieces Fall…
If it’s true, the Kasese people might end up forgiving Gen Elweru; but wait, so what did Muhoozi expect to find in a general’s home, hoes??
