I launched @vicut_io with a waitlist. Then killed it.
By the time I let people in, they’d gone cold and were hard to bring back.
Maybe I ran it wrong: no socials collected, no way to talk to each person one by one.
Opened sign-ups for everyone → sales started the same week.
Rough week to ship solo:
• Node.js: 4 high-severity CVEs, one allows remote code execution
• PHP: emergency patch, two bugs rated 9.2/10
• Railway: security incident, users told to rotate every secret, builds paused for a day
AI writes your code. Patching is still your job.
I started a faceless YouTube channel. Not for views — to understand the creators I’m building @vicut_io for.
Not bad for a first try.
Now I’m learning the YouTube algorithm from the inside. Way more addictive than I expected.
Still in silent mode, but for a good reason: spent the past few months building a site builder for @flowmapp. Big things are coming. 🛠️
Yes!
We're preparing with @severin_pro a huge release for @flowmapp
One of the biggest product updates yet.
For a long time, we've been a great UX tool, and now we're moving into UI:
web building
web designing
web hosting
Flowmapp Studio → builder is coming soon 👀
Built a small tool today in ~4 hours.
Was tired of planning content for X in Google Sheets —
moving rows, tracking statuses, constant mess.
So I made xplanner.cc — an AI-powered content planner for X creators.
Trying it myself this week. Curious if anyone else needs this
What's the one #UX tool you actually use every day? (Figma doesn't count)
The hardest part of bootstrapping isn't the money. It's making decisions with no one to validate them
AI won't kill UX designers. It'll kill execution-only designers.
If your job is moving components and delivering screens — AI already does that.
The shift that matters: from "how should this look?" to "should we build this at all?"
Product thinking is the one skill AI can't replace.
Are you developing it?

We grew FlowMapp to 400K users with $0 in paid advertising. The actual story is more boring than you'd expect — and more useful.
- Designer News launch, one retweet = first 1K users
- SEO before launch
- Word of mouth mechanics
- Product Hunt 3x
- Community (Reddit, Telegram, Twitter)
- Uncomfortable truth: ads = product isn't pulling weight
What's your primary growth channel?
Most founders validate ideas by asking friends. Friends lie. Find 10 strangers with the problem. If 7 try to pay you before the product exists — build it
