🚤 neartrade updates (speed + benchmark) we’re excited to announce the steps we’ve taken which has resulted in the fastest speeds across our platform both on telegram and website since the start of $TRADE, which initially emerged as a telegram bot and then went onto a whole website being developed around a focus for allowing more trenchers to be onboarded onto @NEARProtocol, our goal has been to increase trading (swapping) speeds whether it be for buys or sells. we’re proud to say today that we’ve come close to it! and whatever we state can be checked through our published benchmark with on-chain evidence we tested a total of four web based terminals (us, @unrlzdtrade, @nomotrading, @NearFiTrade) and we also tested four telegram based terminals (us, @dawndottrade, @NearFiTrade, @bananagun) the results speak for themselves… over 50+ trades submitted by hand to check and record the times, and additionally on-chain data records are also used to check and reaffirm currently, without a contract, we beat all platforms and unrlzd is second closest to us with neartrade getting trades into a block 0.35s sooner (~32%) and finishing the swap 0.31s sooner (~14%) at the median 📊 median click to swap done (seconds): neartrade 1.91s neartrade bot (tg) 1.88s unrlzd 2.22s nearfi web 3.07s nearfi bot (tg) 3.60s banana gun 4.82s dawn 12.33s nomo 39.4s (via intents, deposit → swap) on telegram, banana gun routes every trade through its own router contract, so the swap lands 2 blocks later than a direct one. dawn relays meta-transactions and sends extra wrap/hop transactions, which makes it ~6x slower to the swap on top of the 61 hand timed trades, the page re-times every user's trades from block timestamps every ~3 hours. once a trade is on chain, everyone sending a single swap lands about the same (~1.2s), so the difference is how fast the platform gets your trade there, and that's where we win this is before our contract work full results, every tx linked + csv benchmark.neartrade.lol
