Today, I'm excited to introduce Craby to the community! React Native developers can now write native modules in Rust with Pure C++ TurboModule integration—type-safe, auto-generated bindings, and zero overhead. craby.rs #reactnative

Lots of great discussions about @rockjs_dev in @reactuniverse_ 2025. I've compiled my takeaways into a blog. 🙌Hope it helps clarify what this new framework is all about! Shoutout to @thymikee for an amazing talk. Check it out👇 medium.com/@sg43245/introduc…

The term "enterprise" is incredibly broad, covering everything from greenfield apps to projects with highly specific needs for observability or compliance. We don't believe it's realistic, or even the goal, for a single framework to cover every possible niche. Our aim is to contribute complementary tools for those specific scenarios, which strengthens the entire ecosystem. We're always open to feedback on the language. The ultimate goal is for the entire Expo and React Native community to succeed and grow the pie for everyone.

I see a lot of people arguing @expo vs @callstackio’s rock. disclaimer: I’m one of the biggest expo fans. if you can use expo, you should. expo is awesome. you can build your whole app with it, even a big one, and ship to the app store in no time. you can also handle scaling yourself in expo, bringing in libraries for debugging, performance, and so on. rock’s purpose is different. an obvious example is when a big company already has a mobile app and wants to gradually move into react native. that’s when scaling, security, and performance challenges really show up. rock brings together the tooling callstack has built over years working with clients facing these exact problems. expo and rock are not competitors. they fit different needs and different contexts. the real value is knowing which one serves you best at the time.

What are the complexities and challenges of using OTA updates for apps with millions of users? 🤔 @adam_mruk from Klarna sheds some light on the topic, and explains how and why they built their own in-house OTA solution.

Replying to @Omkar_K45
It's something @sg43245 proposed as a potential Rozenite plugin. It's not going to show you slow calls in the code, but rather slow modules that do too much work when they're initially constructed.
