justiceformyanmar.org/storie… To keep its fighter jets bombing civilians, Myanmar’s junta is running systematic trade fraud. Misclassifying jet fuel as diesel at a 50% premium, using ghost companies in Thailand & UAE, and relying on sanctioned shadow-fleet tankers to deliver it. New leak detailed by Justice for Myanmar.

Eight-year-old child Fatima Hisham al-Bayouk, the sole survivor of her family, has been killed by Israeli gunfire in central Gaza. In December 2023, Fatima was pulled alive from the rubble of her family’s home in Khan Younis after spending two days trapped beneath it. An Israeli airstrike had killed her parents and siblings. Since then, she had been living with her grandmother in Deir al-Balah. Fatima died from wounds sustained after being shot by Israeli forces east of the city. 🎥 Osama al-Dahdouh
🇵🇸💢 “We came to rebuild our country, the country they destroyed. Why are they attacking us here too?”: Israel strikes Gaza university twice, killing three Israeli strikes hit the campus of the Islamic University in western Gaza City twice on Sunday, less than four hours apart, killing three university security guards and wounding several others, including students.  “Today, we were studying in class, minding our business, while the professor was explaining. Suddenly, an airstrike hit directly beneath us, a massive explosion,” Mohammed Qandil, an engineering student, told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah. Qandil said he was attending a physics lecture when the strike hit directly beneath the classroom. “We came here to learn and get an education. We came to rebuild our country, the country they destroyed and devastated. Why are they attacking us here too?” “All we're asking for is our right to education, nothing more. We don't want anything else. We just want our right to education.” 🎥 @AbdSabbah91

Former intelligence officer Mike Tapp was funded by serial pro-Israeli lobbyist Stuart Roden. Three days after he was elected, the Guardian described him one of “five fresh Labour MPs to watch”. Five months later, he was announced as a Labour Friends of Israel vice-chair.
“Have you spoken to any Palestinian organizations before you wrote your letter?” @ShehabKhan presses Labour MP Mike Tapp who reported the Green Party over its Zionism motion about whether he’s ever spoken to any Palestinians. Tapp: “I don’t know any Palestinian people.”

🇵🇸 Refeef Lubbad, a 17-year-old 11th grader, was shot and killed by Israeli forces Thursday as she walked home from school in the al-Faluja area of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Her name was Refeef Lubbad. She was 17, an 11th-grade student, shot and killed as she returned home from school. You did not, and will not, see a breaking news alert about her killing. The New York Times and other complicit media outlets will not put her face on their front pages. But here, you will see her face and know her name. May the day come when those who killed Refeef and our families are brought to justice, and when the names of journalists who justified, condoned, or dismissed their deaths as insignificant are displayed on every street, so their complicity is never forgotten.

Well said: “Whatever remained of Reformasi died the moment a man who built his career on universal human dignity decided that the vicious scapegoating of refugees and whitewashing a dictator’s reputation was an acceptable price to pay for domestic political survival.”
Check this statement by Anwar Ibrahim in the Malaysian parliament. He presents a false choice. As if he has to choose between no engagement and treating Min Aung Hlaing like a normal president. Using the US and Europe as a rhetorical foil does not make this a principled "independent stance" - it is a smokescreen. Negotiation does not require rehabilitation. Nor does it require rolling out the red carpet for a butcher. And hosting a coup leader is an outright insult to the people of Southeast Asia. Anwar Ibrahim hides behind domestic "security" and refugee repatriation. Believing that a military clique currently conscripting youth by force and losing control of its own borders is going to “safely resettle” the refugees it terrorised is an absurdity. Whatever remained of Reformasi died the moment a man who built his career on universal human dignity decided that the vicious scapegoating of refugees and whitewashing a dictator’s reputation was an acceptable price to pay for domestic political survival. video: CNA

Bangladesh’s BNP says Sheikh Hasina spent years on Rohingya “show-off activities”. But Tarique Rahman’s five-point plan recycles the same script. Donors fund the camps, refugees wait for repatriation, and Bangladesh responds with more barbed wire fences, surveillance, soldiers etc. New government. Old playbook. Read my oped. Link in reply

Questions for Malaysia english.dvb.no/over-400-rakh… More than two weeks after arriving in Myanmar, over 400 ethnic Rakhine deported from Malaysia are not home with their families. They are in the hands of Myanmar’s military junta. Check linked DVB report. Malaysia’s government brokered this deal directly with the generals. They marched 1,476 people onto naval vessels. They sold the operation to the public and the international community as "safe" and "voluntary." That narrative has now collapsed. Multiple reports now confirm that hundreds of returnees have vanished into military custody. On 8 October, Narinjara reported that roughly 220 Rakhine deportees were shuttled directly to a military recruitment facility for interrogation over alleged ties to the Arakan Army. Development Media Group followed with accounts from families terrified their relatives will be forced into uniform. Meanwhile, the regime’s own propaganda lies exposed. Just days earlier on 2nd October state media pledged that returnees would be reunited with their families "as soon as possible." But we now know that that isnot the case. This leaves the Malaysian government with some damningly simple questions. Has Malaysia bothered to ask the junta why these people are behind wire instead of at home? Did officials conduct any genuine risk assessment regarding detention, interrogation, or forced conscription or did they simply prioritise clearing the detention camps? Will the government proceed with deporting the remaining 3,524 individuals without knowing whether the first batch was delivered straight into harm's way?

Reporting from Paris, Israeli "journalist" Neria Kraus, of i24 News (Channel 15), interviewed "Ali", suposedly a local resident whose parents are from Baghdad. Well, it turns out that "Ali" is actually Hezi Gangina, an Israeli tourist who lives in the South Tel Aviv neighborhood of Kfar Shalem, built on the ruins of the Palestinian village of Salama.

opiniojuris.org/2026/10/21/c… The Arakan Army has turned the persecution of Rohingya into a system of government. It seizes their land, settles others on it, forces them to work and restricts their movement. All this is not the work of rogue soldiers. It is organised, bureaucratic persecution, carried out in the name of governance. Check out Ashley Kinseth's two-part article.

The uses of Biometric Data: Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand are campaigning against being required to obtain a Certificate of Identity (CI) from the Myanmar military regime to keep their legal status. english.dvb.no/myanmar-migra… The application process includes collecting personal information and biometric data. Workers fear the junta could use this information to identify men for military conscription. Without the CI, many risk losing their legal status and facing arrest and detention in Thailand. Their concern is that keeping their right to stay and work should not mean handing over information to the junta.

A timely reminder that leaked Israeli studies found that pushing pro-Israel propaganda to Westerners didnt work & instead they advised spending millions blasting the West with racist Islamophobic content demonizing Muslims instead. I think about that a lot while browsing Twitter

Netanyahu tells Mark Levin that Europeans—not Jews—are colonizers: "We are not on stolen land, this is our historical homeland!" "We're the indigenous people here—we're not the Dutch in Indonesia!" "We're Jews from Judea!" "We're not trying to drive anyone out!" he adds.
