How are you gonna quote me, but now allow me to reply? Some would buy it, even with it timed some people went to buy it. The more exclusives there are, the more reason there is to buy the console.
This poster is mistaken that or the Ai he used. FSR 4.1 lite is only for APUs, it is not the same as the RDNA2 version. Also, the Series consoles will have their own version, different from both.

He means the kernal guys. He didn't say it's the same Windows 11 that the ROG Ally X is using. @scottvanvliet @asha_shar @ballmatthew it would be best to explain whether or not it will be console native:
Host OS (Windows Kernal and Drivers)
System OS (expanded for Helix with full Windows support, maybe into System OS1 and System OS2)
Game OS (a virtual OS for every Xbox Console, baked into the game itself)
All running on Nanovisor.
@jronald can you add anything to this?
Let's not pull the curtain only to reveal a new Windows 11 Xbox Mode that console gamers will not be happy with.
From the Xbox One S to today, Xbox OS still hasn't been hacked. Surely this gives peace of mind to publishers like 2k that are wisely not releasing GTA VI on PC day one. If Xbox Helix ships with a regular windows OS, it will be a pirate fest.

Helix OS is being built on Windows, and the XBOX and Windows teams are working closely together on the next generation of devices. The account cited here misrepresents both the technical work and the relationship between the teams.
XBOX really is the spiritual successor to the Dreamcast!
Some things never really die. They just find a new generation of fans.
The @SEGA Dreamcast was one of the most ambitious and forward-thinking consoles of its time. It dared to do things differently, embraced online gaming before the world was ready, and created experiences that still resonate with players today.
I was fortunate to be part of that journey, and the Dreamcast remains a very special chapter in my career. Its commercial life may have been short, but its cultural legacy continues to grow, fuelled by a passionate community that refuses to let it go.
A big thank you to Back Market for exploring the unique afterlife of the Dreamcast and revisiting a remarkable moment in gaming history.
Innovation doesn’t always win in the moment. Sometimes, it takes the world a little longer to catch up.
Long live the Dreamcast! 💙

The ultimate power move! Hey @BRAP_Podcast why are they asking this if exclusivity is unsustainable?
Xbox might be playing around with the idea of fully returning to Xbox console exclusivity.
Xbox Research: "Imagine all future title releases from every Xbox-developed gaming franchise (except Call of Duty) will be console-exclusive to Xbox (...)".

I still shake my head at how much the multiplat strategy robbed Xbox of what could have been a solid gen, even with the misses.
Looking at these, cumulatively, Xbox would have had a competitive lineup of console exclusives that would have at least tempered the brand decline.

Two years of making our voices heard.
So much more work ahead to recover the DNA of Xbox; but we've finally turned onto the right path.
(I'll use this post in the future for future reference as people *keep* asking me on my thoughts on this topic. These are my thoughts -- again -- on Xbox' multiplatform strategy.)
It's funny they call it Project Latitude, because that suggests they primarily only see the growth width their strategy might give them. Modern Microsoft is almost completely driven by data and research, not so much by the ability to recognize intangible effects or broader social developments, something many of us would call common sense. Over 20 years of Xbox legacy have proven that again and again, unfortunately.
Releasing a game on multiple platforms, making it available to more potential players, will result in more up-front revenue in any kind of possible calculation. That's just maths. The side effects beyond those numbers are a completely different story though.
The new multiplatform approach by Xbox comes with its own costs, from added development challenges (hello Sea of Thieves in 2024) to the most important one: the potential loss of your own identity and with that the loss of customers to other ecosystems.
There is a very strong belief within Xbox that players locked into an ecosystem won't change their platform because of their existing library etc (which 20+ Million Xbox players barely build anymore these days because of Game Pass). Not only do I believe is this nonsense especially mid- to long-term -- as new games will always matter more the longer time goes on -- more importantly, it also completely ignores new players joining gaming every day. The gaming community today is not the same community it is in 5, 10 or 15 years from today. Players decide which ecosystem to invest their money in every day. And if there is one ecosystem where I can play Marvel's Blade and one ecosystem where I can play both Marvel's Blade and Marvel's Wolverine, people sure as hell would know where to put their money in.
Halo, Gears of War, Forza Motorsport/Horizon, Sea of Thieves, Fable etc... These IP became multi-million IPs on Xbox. And only on Xbox. The same goes for dozens of successful IPs on Playstation and Nintendo systems.
I said it again and again: in an ideal world, there wouldn't be exclusive games and everyone can play everything, everywhere, on every device. But that's not the reality, and with Sony and Nintendo, it won't be any time soon. This is a one-way street, and Xbox might simply be way too early... again.
I do feel like Xbox can not do roundtables or business updates and say things like "our fans should know this is all about delivering exclusive games to platforms where Game Pass exists" or "this is not a core change to our strategy to exclusives" when... A few months later, none of that is true. That feels like a punch in the face to those who carried this platform for over 20 years. People are starting to call this is them lying, and honestly, while I wouldn't go that far... I get it.
I'm highly energized by the games Xbox has cooking. Their line-up is incredibly strong, I do believe they are on the right path here. I'll keep sharing my excitement for these teams and their games, because at its core, I'll be able to play all of these and great games is everything this should be about.
Following the acquisition of ABK, Xbox has growth pressure. I think we all get that. The way to get there is highly debatable though. Exclusives matter, period. You don't see Netflix, Disney+ or whatever working without exclusives either. I question their strategy or at least their selection of games and the corresponding announcement strategy. Gaming is a pillar at Microsoft and that won't change. The only question is whether that future is called Xbox or... Microsoft Gaming.

Game Pass doesn’t “cannibalize” sales. It is another monetization path. Money made from GP subs is just as important as game sales—perhaps more so. And a subscriber doesn’t have to play Day 1 when they know it’ll wait for them. People stay subbed for games like this.
Rob retweeted
Here is the reality. If XBOX isn’t happy with a games sales they will take away day one gamepass and lower gamepass prices or tier it. That I have always said is likely
Here is what’s not happening. It’s not coming to Sony. XBOX believes they are fully better than Sony on every regard. They have more they intend to use it. If you want XBOX games you either buy a xbox , play on pC , or play on cloud with your duelsense like @Puertorock77_

It's the same story for everyone, and it's happened to me twice now. I even had a 2FA passcode in place. One day you receive an email from PlayStation saying your email address has been changed, and if this is an error to contact Support. Your account has already been stolen by then, and contacting Support will be frustrating and probably unhelpful. They will assume YOU are the hacker and ban your account if you persist. They even blocked my IP on the Support line because I kept trying to talk to them.
I do suggest changing your account email address to one you don't use all the time so that hackers can't guess it when they have other information about you. You can create an alias sometimes, like [email protected]. This might help because a social engineer will need to know your Profile ID as well as your email address to take it over.

How to player Gears E Day. Start with insane. I did normal but that was a mistake. But if you are a skilled gamer start with insane and play by yourself . Finish the GOTY nominee. Do coop and do all the collectibles with 3 other friends. Finish the game and roast how ps5 can never do anything like that because they charge for mp (factions) and still can do the fucking game (cancelled). So finish the game
After that play horde with 11 other players and all in a chat together
That’s how it is on XBOX
Superior and the most technically game of all time.
Called it.
Im the best at calling it for XBOX.
Goodnight I’ll be finished with Gears E Day solo by sat night and will be playing with coop 3 other ppl next week. Maybe stream it
After that will do a 12 person chat of horde
Buying the game physical too I want it to be first game I pop into helix
Buying from @VGComplainers and selling my ps5 and ps5 pro to him. Video coming . Using store credit to buy Gears E Day.

Talking to many ppl at xbox and with Gears ppl. I don’t know where these reports are coming from but I think it’s safe to say that Gears E Day success or failure is the precipice for many things. For exclusives , for Halo, for gamepass, for even HW up to a point. This was all so make or break back in late May where so many things were up in the air and it was all such at a critical stage.
Fast forward to today where XBOX is very excited to see where this week goes. The game was under an incredible amount of pressure. Many parallels of Kalona to XBOX to the fate of everything. It looks like the game is gonna rise above the hate, the XBOX tax, the lying demented fanboys (tripster, gecko, etc) and the misinformation campaign they all have been running. The losers are sure looking to be the haters (all of them) and the winners are sure looking to be XBOX, the XBOX community, and yes Timdog. I bet my account on this and knew of the significance of it all in March. I was laughed out, made fun of, disregarded by many.
Well the floodgates is about to open and everyone is gonna be playing this game. The game is going to get so much more added to it as it was a starting from scratch game (blank harddrive). Expect this to be the first game you install and play on Helix. The most powerful console by a ton and a new brand new controller for XBOX to utilize all the features.
Brothers till the end @aarongreenberg
Next week Fable starts up. Can’t wait to see what @benkenobi2020 my friend has cooking up.
Today is a very good day. Enjoy #GearsEDay

Xbox has a vested interest in selling its games on Steam and the breakdown is
• First $10 million in lifetime Steam revenue for that title: Steam takes 30%, Microsoft keeps 70%
• $10M–$50M: Steam takes 25%, Microsoft keeps 75%
• Above $50M: Steam takes 20%, Microsoft keeps 80%
94%~ via Steam survey use windows to run Steam
PlayStation is not on PC.
XBOX direct competition for HW is PlayStation via the high end console market. XBOX Latitude proved to be an monumental failure and XBOX lost sizeable share in the two years they put XBOX games on PlayStation
To act like PC and Consoles are the same is low IQ and also to not recognize the damage that XBOX did to XBOX by putting its games on PlayStation is also low IQ
Gears E Day will never come to PlayStation. Sorry low IQ RHYS.
