Used to always be my favourite part of the @UBCM Convention, Resolutions, especially when @sharongaetz was Chairing! Great to see #CSaan in the book! #LocalGovROCKS

Municipalities are being asked to build, build, build without the necessary resources or infrastructure. @FCM_online commissioned new research that estimates the average cost of municipal infrastructure to support new housing in the country is $107,000 per home. That's why the Federation of Canadian Municipalities is proposing a Municipal Growth Framework to ensure cities have the tools we need to build liveable communities. We need a framework that recognizes our role in building and maintaining public infrastructure and provides us with the necessary resources. I urge our provincial and federal counterparts to listen work with us to create a Municipal Growth Framework that ensures our communities can thrive. Learn more: fcm.ca/making-canadas-growth…

It's fun to look back at the remarkable people who make our communities better because of who they are & what they do. The wrap up of #Amplifriday '22 highlights your neighbours, your co-workers, and your friends/family who make an impact in our world! lnkd.in/gpRn6wim

Steve - what a great memory you have. To me, this is one of the most important qualities to be remembered for. Guard your integrity. People generally believe the worst of politicians. Prove them wrong.

Agreed and I remember something that @sharongaetz once said at a @LGLA_Leads session years ago: “all you have is your personal integrity”. I always ask if participating in an item will call my RD Board decision-making into repute - if so, I will recuse myself from the meeting
