we need to shut down 70% of engineering colleges and turn them into wedding halls. at least they'll generate employment
imagine an IT company announcing that employees can donate their unused sick leaves to coworkers.
within six months, there would be an underground sick leave economy.
senior developers selling migraines for ₹4000, freshers borrowing fevers at 18% interest, and HR launching an investigation into fraudulent tuberculosis.
capitalism always finds a way.
enough is enough. how many more railway incidents before @AshwiniVaishnaw resigns? he must take moral responsibility for this failure.
An urgent notice from the Railway team

My company has a strict policy against moonlighting.
Meanwhile the CEO is an angel investor, motivational speaker, podcast host, startup advisor, LinkedIn influencer and board member of 4 companies.
Apparently the sun only shines on the top floor.
I had to prove I wasn't a robot to speak to a customer support robot.
We have completely lost control of the situation.
If I die while working from home, please don't tell my company immediately.
Keep my laptop online, move the mouse occasionally and collect another month's salary.
I've given them enough free overtime. My corpse deserves compensation.
this is why poverty will never be eradicated. people have started treating it like a spiritual achievement.
a senior engineer I know quietly works two full-time remote jobs for US startups.
he makes ₹1.2 crore a year sitting in his bedroom.
his colleagues think he is an average performer working 40 hours. in reality, he logs 15 hours a week total.
system is broken, and he’s milking it. Thoughts?
I want to see two ai agents handle an entire job interview.
Candidate's bot invents 5 years of kubernetes experience. recruiter's bot praises the culture and offers a salary that doesn't exist. both send each other a lovely thank you email.
The real humans wake up to a rejection saying there wasn't enough human connection.
A senior dev told me he deliberately leaves a few minor bugs unfixed before every release.
Because if everything works perfectly, management starts questioning why they need so many developers.
I laughed until he told me he's been doing this for 8 years 😭
Before joining a company, candidates should be allowed to speak to 3 employees who recently resigned.
Not the ones HR recommends.
The ones who left without even having another offer.
I bet half the companies would suddenly stop hiring.
instead of putting candidates through 5-6 interview rounds, why not let them work for a month (paid)?
if you're satisfied with their work, hire them.
one month is more than enough to judge someone's ability to do the job.
some companies make interviews harder than the actual job itself.
company literally gave you a way to verify the product before accepting it, and you still managed to screw it up. that's a skill issue, not a scam.
Flipkart "Open Box Delivery" trap:
Delivery guy: "Sir, give OTP first, then I will open the box."
You share the OTP.
Box opens: wrong item, scratched product, or missing accessory.
You contact support.
Flipkart: "As per policy, since OTP was verified at doorstep, return cannot be initiated."
Spend ₹5,000, verify your own scam with an OTP, and keep a damaged box as a souvenir.
Flawless customer service, honestly 🤔
naming a baby is actually insane.
you meet someone who's been alive for 11 minutes and decide what everyone will call them for the next 80 years.
