Your sleepy town produced the Bhatkal brothers - Riyaz, Iqbal, and Yasin - formed the core leadership of the Indian Mujahideen, orchestrating urban serial blasts across India from 2006 to 2013. Following Yasin’s 2013 arrest and NIA crackdowns, the terror network was neutralised.
FYI, the wife of incoming Senator @AbdulElSayed is Dr Sarah Jukaku, whose family traces their roots from the Karnataka town of Bhatkal. For those who know, this otherwise sleepy mostly Muslim fishing town was turned upside down when the RSS and the BJP invaded it in the 1990s and made it the base for their expansion in coastal Karnataka.
This brief video provides a very good introduction, youtube.com/watch?v=EPmWBlNR…, but also see the longer series by @jeegujja for @firstpost (firstpost.com/tag/how-coasta…).

so not just racist, but he is calling a woman “haramzadi” which is deeply misogynistic and a very sexually degrading slur rooted in the policing of women’s sexual respectability and the idea that a person’s worth is tied to her “legitimacy” of birth.
@WajahatAli needs to unpack the patriarchal baggage behind the language he is using before pretending to be progressive because this is very third-world islamist coded
This monologue with him doing the Indian-accent is deplorable and blatantly racist- and Democrats need to start calling this shit out. Enough with the anti-Indian hate and scapegoating. Vivek is an individual and call him out for that if you have to, stop getting stereotypes involved.
All this when @WajahatAli’s parents, Mirza Ali and Sameena Ali, were literally convicted of federal crimes in a scheme to defraud Microsoft smh
So he’s a loser and his wife and her parents are the ones who pay the bills 😭
El Sayed is sort of an interesting character.
He’s not a failed creative. He went to med school at Columbia and was on the cusp of a productive professional career but then just sort of opted out.
He got a mostly fake government job and he and his wife were supported by her income and money from the in laws.
He’s diminutive and goes to the gym a lot and probably takes steroids.
What sort of ‘politics’ does that sort of life trajectory lead to? What’s at work psychologically other than the obvious narcissism and aggrievement?
I’ve clocked this long ago. The ones who live abroad especially the ones born in a western country would mule for every and anyone, but when it’s time to stand for people like them. The silence is deafening. Hindus really are losers

Friendly reminder: Arabs invaded India, killed, raped, violently converted Indians, and enslaved millions, then created Pakistan because of Islam and they divided an ancient civilization. Arab Muslims tried to erase Indian history entirely. But yeah beautiful Indian-Arab couple.
Calling me a bigot while assuming that I grew up in India, a place you call a “third world backwater sh*thole” and I’m supposed to be the bigot here?? You got citizenship in another country and think your sh*t don’t stink 🤣

Abdul just said on CNN that he thinks all of the Haley drama this weekend was "hilarious."
He is such a dismissive sexist, like she didn't have any real problems and he can just hand wave it away with laughter.
I'm so disappointed in anyone who ever supported that pos.

The way yall swing on this man’s pubic hairs really needs to be studied lol it’s quite sick 🤢 actually. He barely won in a extra super blue district AND he hasn’t even done anything new lol he’s washing and repeating what previous administration did. So climb of the man’s 🍆 for a minute 🤣🤣🤣
The entire Democratic Party owes a massive debt of gratitude to Zohran Mamdani.
Before his rapid rise, the party was largely rudderless, suffering from a loss of direction, momentum, and self-confidence. By drifting away from the working class, the party naturally saw voters walk away in response.
Mamdani single-handedly corrected the course, bringing vital energy, ideological clarity, and an authentic connection back to the very people who had been left behind.
Without his influence, the party’s current standing would look very different.
Liberal psychosis is giving credit to someone who did absolutely nothing because he’s Muslim and a man.

Hasan Piker and the DSA types taking credit for the win when it was the moderates who really gave congress to the Dems. Annoying.
