AI is already embedded in many legal workflows. But only 17% of legal professionals say they’re comfortable with AI giving legal advice.
That tension between speed and trust is shaping the industry.

This image hits me hard in the heart today. This is a photo taken of my front porch in 2018 after losing our house in the Woolsey fires. It’s a feeling you don’t ever forget. Walking up to the door you would pass through daily, looking forward to being greeted by the ones you love like you always do but instead being met by a pile of ash and rubble. My soul aches for those who are experiencing this devestation firsthand and I cry for my city. It’s beyond heartbreaking. Los Angeles represents “living the dream” but the reality today is wreckage and destruction.
I am sharing links to organizations that I’m personally supporting and that are helping fight the fires and support survivors, including @MalibuFdn that we helped launch in 2018.
Time , resources and dedication from inside and outside of our community will heal us, but it hurts deeply for now……
Love always,
Miley

I've been fascinated with batteries' role in sustainability lately (prepare for more battery posts!) and came across this during my reading: scientists at the University of Bristol invented a new diamond-coated battery that lasts thousands of years. 🧵 gov.uk/government/news/diamo…

Introducing Willow, our new state-of-the-art quantum computing chip with a breakthrough that can reduce errors exponentially as we scale up using more qubits, cracking a 30-year challenge in the field. In benchmark tests, Willow solved a standard computation in <5 mins that would take a leading supercomputer over 10^25 years, far beyond the age of the universe(!).

Talked to Rowan this week about Copilot Vision and how different it feels to interact with a computer when it can see what you see. Why saying what's "this" or tell me more about "that" is such a leap, plus a sneak peek of what's next: youtu.be/dQP2zLYmCG8?si=z4HS…
It’s a disaster. @NFL should have some terms for quality control when they award streaming contracts.
Why have #TNF on Amazon Prime when the feed is freaking awful? It glitches, you can’t hear anything and it freezes every 5 minutes. This is not enjoyable! #amazonprime
Many Amazon employees are learning about the requirement to return to the office full-time through news reports, rather than from Andy’s memo. The ask is buried deep in the email 😉.
