Excited to announce our partnership with Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing (SMFL), one of Japan’s leading financial institutions!
Replit is powering SMFL’s core software products and has massively accelerated their development process: For example they recently in just one week, with one person, completed a project that previously required six people working for six months.
Next we’re partnering to bring AI-powered software creation to Japanese enterprises, helping them overcome labor shortages, accelerate innovation, and unlock entirely new business opportunities.

This is an incredible accomplishment by India. Absolutely world-changing.
India saw about 496 million people lifted out of poverty between 2011 and 2023 in one of the world’s fastest declines in this metric, the World Bank said, although the gains remain uneven. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
Most large organizations are built on years and decades of internal structure (I’ve worked at many of them!)
@amasad says AI is sowing chaos inside many of these orgs, but this is merely the darkness before the dawn. In today’s world where anyone can build anything, the companies that win will learn to harness that chaos not suppress it. @pirroh @Replit

Founders Fund II is in a league of its own
a $220m fund from 2007 that has created $37.4bn
that's 183.5x per dollar at risk. The median across 408 ranked funds is 1.3x
1️⃣ Founders Fund II, 183.5x, @SpaceX
2️⃣ Bullet Time Ventures I, 53.3x, @Uber
3️⃣ Founders Fund III, 52.2x, @PalantirTech
more than 3x any other fund on the list. INSANE

“The U.S. has benefited from the skills that Indians bring without having had to invest much in their education. Many have earned advanced degrees in America, but the bulk of their training happened in India. A more honest way to see it is that India, along with other poorer countries, has been subsidizing the United States.” theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1…

We placed the fruit fly brain inside Odyssey-3, a frontier world model.
The lil’ guy is now flying around totally imagined, simulated worlds all by itself 🫶
Congrats @nabihasaklayen and team! Long time coming!

Bending Spoons is worth $24 billion.
It trades at 8x ARR and buys B2B companies at 2.3x to 2.7x ARR.
5 learnings from its first 102 days as a public company:
#1. Revenue grew 126%. Organic growth was 3%.
Nearly all of the $393M of added revenue in Q2 came from six acquisitions. The CEO says he doesn't optimize for organic growth. He optimizes for EPS, which grew 167%.
#2. R&D is 8% of revenue. Sales and marketing is 10%.
HubSpot and Datadog each spend about 70% of revenue on those two lines. Bending Spoons spends 18.6%. About 60 people run Vimeo. The core team is under 700 people, at $4M+ of revenue each.
#3. Miro sold at 2.3x ARR, five weeks after Airtable at 2.7x.
$1.08B of ARR for $2.64B, signed 37 days apart. Miro was valued at $17.5B in 2022. Bending Spoons underwrites to a 25% unlevered return. At its 54% margin, that supports about 2.2x ARR.
#4. 1,830 people came with AOL, Eventbrite and Vimeo. Only a few hundred were kept.
Airtable arrived with 935 employees, more than Bending Spoons’ entire core team. Reorganization costs were $51M in Q2 alone.
#5. AI writes 90%+ of the code. Customers pay about 10% more for the AI features.
The CEO says a customer who paid 100 will now pay about 110. The AI gain shows up as capacity: the same 60 people on a business four times the size.
If you're at $300M to $800M in ARR growing under 25%, this is the buyer most likely to at least call. But ... the only do a handful of deals a year.
Its own stock trades at roughly 7x to 8x revenue. Your revenue is worth about 3x more inside Bending Spoons than it is in your hands.
Much respect for Fei-Fei and her decades of contributions, but given what @odysseyml just unleashed with #odyssey-3, @AMD should be asking for a refund... 🙃
Kidding aside, what this @DCVC-backed company just delivered is extraordinary, and more so on the relatively modest $ and team size they did it on... Congrats @olivercameron + your team!

Talking to Amjad yesterday, I realized Replit is more important than I'd previously thought. It's the way AI pervades organizations. Organizations can become somewhat aligned with AI by using AI-powered apps, but the deepest change takes the form of code.
.@amasad and @DavidSacks just walked through the real AI startup map: open vs closed models, security at every level, and why enterprises are rapidly putting agents to work.
Not every old rule died. B2B is still not B2C. And the “jobs apocalypse” story is louder than the evidence cause builders will build.
#unprompted2026 @Replit
Agents made software cheaper but made coding expensive.
Today, together with @OpenAI, we’re changing this:

The knowledge that makes AI useful is diffused. It lives with scientists, engineers, clinicians, firms. For AI to benefit from distributed knowledge, it must itself be distributed. Agree with Jensen that this is a future worth building.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

Agree, 100% we shouldn’t be tying ourselves in knots. Even bigger issue is the brilliant talent we are scaring away from other countries with our immigration policies for great talent.
This is concerning. For the first time, a Chinese model Kimi K3 has taken #1 on the Frontend Code Arena and is scoring at or near the frontier on other benchmarks.
Meanwhile America is tying itself in knots: politicians and bureaucrats are banning new data centers, piling on state regulations, and pushing for new federal agencies to pre-approve frontier models.
This is how you lose the AI race. The rest of the world won’t play by our rules if we bog ourselves down. Permissionless innovation is how America won the internet and became the technological envy of the world. We can do it again with AI -- while addressing risks in a targeted way -- or we’ll watch our lead evaporate.
