You outsmarted millions. If voters in other states had been allowed to vote for you, many more would have fallen for your charm. Keep going and maybe one day it's the presidency.
Like it or not, they will call you Senator. You beat them at their own game. Western democracy gave you representation, and you're using that power to shape your country (yes, your country) closer to your worldview. Who knows, maybe you'll even work to undo the Muslim Brotherhood designation. As an observant Muslim, why wouldn't you pursue what you believe in?
And let's be honest: you read your voters far better than they read you. Your critics put the questions about your associations in front of them. Your voters, many of them Jewish, shrugged and backed you anyway. As we say in Arabic: القانون لا يحمي المغفلين. The law doesn't protect the gullible.
The political current that cheered your victory has spent decades working patiently toward this, for the good of humanity as it sees it, and for the good of its children.
I disagree. I grew up where Islam has ruled since the 7th century. Since the eighties, the Muslim Brotherhood has promised us الإسلام هو الحل, "Islam is the solution." We lived the result, and nothing could be further from the truth. That was our experience in the Muslim world, the same world your parents chose to leave.
Maybe America will be different. Maybe here it will finally work, because the people who mistake your smug smile for a sweet one are so much easier to win over. They have no resilience. They take every smile at face value. And they have so little sense of who they are that some would trade it for anything that offers certainty.
Congratulations. The hard work paid off. While your side spent decades organizing, the people who should have been paying attention were busy inventing new identities, new grievances, new reasons to be offended, new things to smoke, new gods. Then the Palestinian cause led them straight into bed with Islamism. And for Palestine, they'll march hypnotized to the end of the earth.

The 2026 election was three days ago, and now Houston Police won't call ICE to come pick up an illegal alien criminal, even if that alien has a warrant out. However, if an American citizen has a warrant out for a Class C misdemeanor, the Houston Police will take them to jail. Let that sink in!
Basically, they'll enforce the law on American citizens, but not on illegal alien criminals.

The “New Right” has no plan, no winning coalition & no path to power.

Leftists aren’t stupid enough to protest-vote for the Right. At best, they stay home. The Left thanks you for win, but they have their people and now they have power.
The New Right’s style may be big with a small portion of terminally online non-Leftist Zoomers with nothing to lose, it won’t play well with older generations
Even with Gen Z, the New Right has failed. The Left already overwhelming dominates Gen Z & Millennials. Neither is buying the New Right’s pitch outside in the numbers needed to win primaries (let alone elections)
As to Boomers & Gen X. At best, the overwhelming majority see the New Right as no more than trashy entertainment and a source of amusement akin to political Jerry Springer
At worst, a large portion of this older bloc are brainwashed to view the New Right as fascists to be thrown into camps. I doubt they will joint the coalition.
The majority of independents did not like MAGA/Trump’s rhetoric. I doubt they now seek to embrace the New Right
That’s just the general public.
As to conservatives, a sizable MAGA faction won’t forgive the New Right’s sabotage of Trump 2.0 with baseless Epstein-class accusations, which began before the Iran War.
There is also a large portion of MAGA (and the GOP) that view Iran’s mullahs as a long-term threat to America, support the war, and actually want Trump to hit Iran harder before leaving office.
Neocons/RINOs couldn’t stomach Trump. They’re not embracing the “New Right” either.
The only thing that I know for certain is the New Right has stirred up enough bad blood to potentially keep the Right divided & out of national power for a generation (if not forever).
I wish the New Right well. They got exactly what they wanted and seem confident about the future and the steps that need to be taken.

I said when @MassieforKY first shared this photo that all this group will be doing is trading bad (often evil) people in the GOP with more bad people. Why? Not because Thomas or Tucker or MTG and this crew are so individually horrible over other humans. It's because politics has a basic problem. You could sum it up this way. 6000 years of recorded human history proves the moral depravity of mankind.
The actual problem in any country is the people when we have an otherwise good structure. That's the hurdle we have. Not Donald Trump. Not who's in control of Congress. It's always the people.
The effort represented in this picture will fail in spite of the good intentions because it is being founded on a flawed anthropology. In other words, they think they can be better people than people. Having kicked out those who have failed us, they seek to set themselves up as the saviors.
These 'principled' people who opposed the Iran war embarked upon a political terror campaign to destroy the GOP. I surely share their desire to destroy GOP leadership. But they outdid themselves and it may backfire. The result has been the most radical shift to political insanity in this country's history. It's worse than anything Woodrow Wilson or FDR could ever have dreamed. Just listen to the video of Texas House Majority Leader Gene Wu. This is what @RepThomasMassie and this team gave so so they can come back with a rebranded Libertarian Party and 'fix things.'

Keep in mind Thomas Massie after gaining a seat on the House Rules Committee with the help of budget hawks to stop bad budgets betrayed that support by making a deal with Kevin McCarthy that allowed the problem to continue because McCarthy promised Thomas that Congress would pass all 12 appropriations bills. They didn't do it. They would only have done it once. And it wasn't going to really cut spending.
This is the type of 'principled stand' Thomas takes when it comes down to it.

Those on the Right celebrating MAGA’s defeat now have to build a viable coalition & path to power
Unlike them, I’m not rooting for the Right’s failure. I understand the consequences.
But what’s the plan?
The Left sees this Blue Tsunami as a generational mandate & will act accordingly. The Right now has fewer allies, less leverage, & less institutional power. Those on the “Right” celebrating loudest helped make it happen turning a wave int tsunami.
Trump activated millions who otherwise wouldn’t vote. How many disappear with him? Was 2016-2024 the birth of a lasting movement or a historical blip before the Socialist States of America?
Even Elon Musk appears to be retreating from politics. The momentum needed to convince elites to back RW ideas may be dead.
And who could blame them?
These factions couldn’t even be gracious in victory.
Alex Jones is screaming about invoking the 25th Amendment. Others push lies calling former allies pedophiles & murderers while openly rooting for their imprisonment/execution.
Some of these people would be rotting in prison without Trump’s pardon.
No loyalty. No discipline. No strategy.
Just schizos who destroy everything they touch & incapable of building anything beyond a shitty podcast.
Trump was a once-in-a-century transformative political figure: billionaire, universal name recognition, marketing genius, elite ties, &
tens of millions of loyal voters.
What little influence MAGA gained for the Right may now evaporate.
It wasn’t everything the Right wanted. Not even close.
But it was something.
Trump bears responsibility too. He underestimated the economic pain Americans have endured since COVID, compounded by the conflicts in Iran & Ukraine. Congress utterly failed in its duties.
But the “right” wing factions celebrating helped turn a wave into a tsunami. Now they get to live in the ruins.
And here’s the funniest part.
If internet censorship returns, many of these people have NOTHING.
Their entire political existence depends on X, Twitch, Instagram, & YouTube.
They’re celebrating the collapse of the only coalition that gave them leverage while begging for access to the same Leftist-run platforms tha still ban them.

You couldn’t unite the Right when Trump was WINNING. Now you’ll do it after helping the Left regain power?
With what money? Which elites? What institutions? What voters?
No governing coalition. No institutional infrastructure. No credible replacement for Trump.
And enemies more emboldened than ever.
As to Midterms. The Left won. Trump lost.
But the loudest factions celebrating on the Right may ultimately be the biggest losers.
You traded political access for internet applause. Burned bridges with allies while your enemies consolidated power.

On TV, Trump boasts about the greatest economy in history and how many women and minorities are finding jobs.
You decide a father-son steak night might cheer him up.
Gas is $4.50 a gallon. Filling your truck costs over $100. At Kroger, ribeyes are $30/lb. You settle for hamburger, even though 70/30 ground beef still costs $10+.
At checkout, a fat black woman is screaming at the cashier because her EBT will only cover most of the filet mignon and lobster in her cart.
You think to yourself how the Iran war has made everything expensive, but at least we’re stopping their nuclear bomb. You weren’t even sure where Iran was before you googled it after we first bombed them in March.
After dinner, you take your son to the county fair. Half the people aren’t speaking English. Virtually none of the crowd looks like you. You’re forced to leave early after a “teen takeover” turns violent. A foreign born judge pledges none of them will go to jail.
Back home, you turn on the TV. Vivek Ramaswamy is lecturing the crowd about American mediocrity and why Ohio needs more foreign talent.
Your son grows upset. You change the channel.
Now a Republican surrogate, the daughter of a governor or wife of an elderly billionaire, explains that young White men are the REAL welfare queens. They’d rather play videogames in their parents’ basements than work.
Your son says nothing. He just goes back to his childhood bedroom. You turn off the TV.
Then your neighbor starts blasting reggaeton and cracking open Modelos. He brought his cousin’s family from Mexico to help with all the minority-business contracts his construction firm keeps winning. Tonight they’re celebrating his nephew’s birth, the family’s first birthright American citizen.
You sit alone in your living room.
You worked hard, paid taxes, obeyed the law, and raised your son to do everything right. You voted Republican again and again because you believed somebody in Washington would finally fight for you.
Instead, your wages are stagnant. Groceries are unaffordable. Your community is unrecognizable. Your country is fighting another foreign war.
And upstairs, the son you sacrificed everything for is lying awake in the bedroom he slept in at twelve, wondering what the heck he’s even supposed to do with his life now.
Every time you turn on the TV, the Republicans you elected are either congratulating themselves or explaining why you and your son are the problem.
For ten years, they told you America’s future depended on your vote. Now you aren’t even sure America has a future worth defending.
The Republican Party needs to answer one simple question this morning:
You’ve spent a decade demanding Bob’s loyalty. You’ve given him stagnant wages, unaffordable groceries, another foreign war, and a son who did everything right but can’t find work.
And when they complain, you call them lazy, entitled, and racist.
What possible reason have you given Bob and his son to vote Republican? Do you honestly think you deserve their vote?
