i wanted to do this mainly to block any food videos from my YouTube feed after 10pm. This is a good idea, I will do so for myself as well.
Weekend hack: HackerTube. I was annoyed with YouTube's recommendations so I had Claude filter down 43M comments over 20 years of HN to 6,454 videos that keep being recommended. *Significantly* better viewing experience, ~2 hours with Opus 5.5:

- Thumbnail is a representative frame from middle of the video instead of the super duper A/B test hyper-optimized user uploads
- Underlying data from the comment analysis as one zip file, point your Claude at it and ask for your own version

A bit more on the process:
I use Claude Code (desktop app for Mac), Opus 5.5 on Medium effort as my default. I only talk to Claude and have it do everything, the only "manual work" I helped with in tandem was in the browser (reminiscent of MenuGen): 1) I had to create some kind of API key from Google Cloud UI to query YouTube for video metadata, 2) I booted up a VPS box for serving and 3) I bought the domain name. Once the box was up I gave Claude the IP and told it update, secure, harden, deploy and optimize the code, and it did the whole thing.
Many awesome projects that would have normally taken weeks/months even can now be few-shotted for breakfast. What else are we not thinking of.

Reflecting this morning on how different this hack feels from how FTX felt.
Market is only down a few percent. Incredibly calm, dip buyers coming in, even amidst a macro rout, outflows have been muted. The directly affected alts are also holding up, as the market is pricing in Binance buying everything back.
This hack was a little over $6B, which in dollar terms is only 25% less than FTX's hole. But confidence in Binance as a business is so high, the industry came together, hustled to protect each other, and the market has decided: eh, it'll be fine.
Our industry has matured.
It's good to see.
Binance has begun recovering affected assets for users and continues to work with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace, freeze and recover additional funds.
The company has already publicly committed to cover losses through company funds in the prior announcement.
Binance has already reserved over $6.34B of company funds to cover this incident. $5B of these funds are already held in the exact token assets that were impacted. We are completing the purchase of the remaining amount by buying token assets through market channels and OTC channels. We are doing this to match the format of the remaining token assets and address any asset shortfalls. This step can take longer because some tokens may have low liquidity and OTC settlement also takes time. We will share more progress as soon as we can.
These figures do not include frozen or protected assets, which remain subject to ongoing recovery and verification. Currently, $3bn has been frozen, with thanks to our industry partners. We are working with partners and law enforcement to recover the frozen assets.We will continue to use company resources to cover confirmed shortfall and will provide further verified updates as recovery efforts progress. Ultimately, all user funds will be verified publicly through our Proof of Reserves.

Singaporeans underestimate what a huge benefit it is to have a benign neighbour.
When China had cultural revolution, all monies fled Taiwan and Hongkong. Singapore should be cautious working with Indonesia. Must stand its ground but also be flexible.

- a specticular show of a marketing event, Tesla needs this to capture market/consumuer attention while business gets squeezed by the chinese
- Awe and distract Chinese car makers
- demonstration of tech that is unique to Tesla/SpaceX bundle
- luxury sports car entry, possibly

它可以一直更新 Demo，却不需要实际生产销售。
可能也只有 Tesla 能这样做。

这个Paper我的评价是Hype大户搞起来的局。一开始都是什么人存几百万刀几十万刀不要命的往里面烧你想想。没有内幕信息你敢这么干？并且这些人的动作就像开始前就知道了最高效的拿币规则，Cbb这些人。
大部分国区的朋友应该都像我一样，在开盘没有信息差的情况下遇到了仓位开不出来的情况。毕竟谁能想到一上来就开1000倍开1000万刀仓位呢？谁能预料到交易还要排队的情况呢？折腾半天开出来后2M早结束了。大多草草收尾没有去刷完预期金额。
开盘前能拿到有效信息谁不知道上来高效烧个百一，只能说，不在核心圈，赚点逼钱真几把的难。以Cbb为首的洋鬼子们还是太他妈的坏了。
