ICS, alongside, the Transport and Logistics Bureau of the Government of Hong Kong (TLB) and the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (@hksoa_org), will be hosting the third edition of the Hong Kong Global Maritime Trade Summit.
This 3rd edition of the Hong Kong Global Maritime Trade Summit will consider how maritime trade can adapt to an operating environment defined not by isolated shocks, but by overlapping and persistent crises that require coordinated, practical and investable responses.

This week wraps up some successful activity in Shanghai.
ICS has been participating across multiple events and meetings over the past few days and have had many valuable conversations about the issues which are impacting our industry.
In addition to John Denholm’s participation in this event and the North Bund Forum, ICS Deputy Secretary General Simon Bennett gave a keynote address during the Finance and Insurance Forum at North Bund.
Today, ICS Secretary General @ThomasKazakos met with H.E. Minister Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Zahir Al-Hinai Ambassador-at-Large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sultanate of Oman (@FMofOman), in Muscat.
Oman has shown continuous support for seafarers and commercial ships during this conflict, and ICS is grateful for their efforts to bring attacks on commercial shipping in the region to an end.
Yesterday, ICS Secretary General @ThomasKazakos attended @Seatrade Crew Connect Global to speak on the Opening Plenary: The Geopolitical Anxiety Crisis – Seafarers at the Intersection of Sanctions, War, and International Law.
