Watching this interview, it’s clear the Vice President has very limited understanding of Iranians or Iran. He basically called the Iranian people “terrorists, desperate and hungry”. Watching JD Vance try to sell this Iran deal, you’d never know what’s actually in it: a U.S. promise to look away if the regime massacres its own people again, sanctions relief with no real human‑rights leverage, and ballistic missiles effectively left in place while we pretend a recycled ‘we won’t build a bomb’ line is enough. The United States restored internet to Egypt in 2011. We have Starlink. We fund the circumvention tools. The capability is right there. So what is the problem? Washington’s priority right now is clear: take Iran’s nuclear enrichment off the table and prevent a wider war. This is October 7th all over again. The Iranian regime creates the crisis, closes the Strait of Hormuz, and then begs the world to focus on “America attacking our infrastructure.” They want the strike, they want the images, they are even putting children on bridges and around key sites as human shields so that if anything happens, the world sees dead and wounded kids instead of the regime’s aggression.
