This is a completely free update to all existing Manual users - but if you appreciate the update, or wish to support further updates, we'd appreciate any tips. Tips can be made as an in-app purchase from the settings. Thank you 💋

Small version 2.2 update with iPhone X support and some bug fixes, available now. This a hold over release while we finish up a big new version of Manual. The daddy of this app got distracted trying to follow his dreams. Thanks for your patience 💋

FYI: VSCO can now edit your raw DNG files.

Mm we don’t have burst currently. Not sure if DNG could keep up.
Lightroom and Snapseed currently, VSCO is coming.
Manual isn’t that auto ;-)
I mean you can just do that by turning off auto exposure and use manual settings. Same with focus.
Remember to add the dumb lil widget for fast access from lock screen!
If you don’t open in a compatible app it will only be able to view the low res embedded preview. Includes Photos.app
You’re opening the DNG in incompatible apps. Lightroom is likely exporting JPEG to library.
Version 2.1 coming in hot, watch out. – Lens switcher for 7 Plus! – Fast access widget! – Haptic feedback! – Dumb bug fixes 📲 GET IT

PSA: If you shoot RAW you need to view/edit DNG in compatible programs or else you’ll see a crappy low-res preview. That includes Photos!

Really sounds like you’re still not viewing in compatible apps
Or desktop Photos.app. Lot of things will misread the metadata, even Image Capture.
