Perhaps — and hear me out here — if you can afford to lose $474 million while trying to buy the midterm elections, you can afford to pay your fair share in taxes.

Look at the margin in Mississippi. This race will come down to a literal handful of votes. Don’t let anyone ever tell you your vote doesn’t count.

Sure, last night was a rebuke of Washington Republicans who enabled the horrors of the past two years. But it was also vindication for the business and tech leaders who remained principled and vocal and engaged - even when it wasn't fashionable, and often at great personal risk.
1/ A few thoughts on tonight’s election: Voters made clear they demand a different kind of country. Americans want an economy that can compete globally and deliver for them at home. And they made clear that they want leaders they can trust to fight for their constituents.

Last night, Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) told me something I keep thinking about: While Democrats may want to celebrate, they need to remember that this isn't a sporting event. This is Americans sending the strongest signal possible that they are in pain, and hurting, and want help. Now Congress needs to answer that call. It was powerful stuff, and if the party is smart they'll follow his instincts.

Tom Skerritt was an absolute monster in TV and cinema. Guy was fantastic in so many big films. He also starred in 1978 hit "Ice Castles," with Tony winner Colleen Dewhurst, Robby Benson and Lynn-Holly Johnson. Easily, one of my favorite sports movies of all time. ⛸️
Tom Skerritt, who starred in the TV series “Picket Fences” and appeared in movies ranging from “MASH” to “Alien,” “Top Gun,” “A River Runs Through It” and “Ted,” has died of natural causes at 93. variety.com/2026/film/news/t…

Churchill could have shortened WW2 by years if he had just “done a deal” with Hitler. George Washington could have done a deal to end the American Revolution. Zelenskyy is in good company.

If you work for the Ramaswamy campaign you should probably quit right now so that in future job interviews you can say you had no part in this.

My eyes were wet from start to finish. I thought of being little in a big world & watching my son's first tries at this mad game. ESPN's Open to the NHL season is beautiful. I didn't expect to cry today-this is stunning. There's nothing like this sport. We at ESPN love the sport as you do. ❤️ Enjoy.
