I beg of you please go and watch Wildwood?? Is a love letter to art itself and almost nobody has seen it 😭😭😭

LAIKA’s WILDWOOD has already surpassed the entire worldwide run of Missing Link… but it’s still struggling against its reported $100M budget. 💔
Imagine spending 16 years bringing a world to life, frame by frame. We need to talk more about why original animation struggles to compete. 🌲
Watched #Wildwood for a 4th time. Playing in a few more Dolby theaters closer than the last time. Sat in the center and enjoyed. This is the type of movie this theater was made to showcase! The better contrast really draws attention to the magnificent detail in the art.

I am BEGGING everyone to go see Wildwood.
It’s a seismic achievement for animation and is overwhelmingly dedicated to the craft. It’s my favorite movie of the year and holds its own as a Best Picture contender against the likes of The Odyssey and PHM.
You won’t be disappointed.

Strong word of mouth is giving ‘Wildwood’ a lift at the domestic box office. Its second Sunday outgrossed its first by 2%, pushing the weekend to $9 million and beating projections.
Laika’s latest fell just 27% in its second frame, reaching $27.4 million.

Wildwood is absolutely one of the most visually brilliant and artistically compelling movies of the year if not period.
At multiple points in the film I actively forgot I was watching a stop motion film. The tech used for the movie is genuinely jaw-droppingly breathtaking.

Gente de argentina o de cualquier país la verdad, deberían ir a ver Wildwood!! Una película así merece ser vista en el cine, está a la altura de pelis como Kubo y Coraline

Wildwood is a masterpiece. Glad I got to see it in theaters. The scale of those battles is just..woah.
