As the crockery shattered on the ground, I found myself strangely moved. I too was broken, my gravy dried up. It was just a mug - but then again, so was I

I said this earlier this week and here's another example of what happens if you try to have dialogue with MPs, they will make out that any disagreement is abuse directed a poor harmless, noble MP who couldn't possibly have malign intentions or be supporting poor legislation
My friend @Jess4Lowestoft is a hero and a champion for women and children’s safety every single day.
Disagree with her if you want, she can take it. But the horrific character attacks this week should give us all pause about what our politics has become
Proud of you Jess x

It does 2 huge bad things:
1) it cheapens being on the sex offenders register, providing cover for actual rapists ("oh I'm just on there for watching face sitting porn")
2) it gives the govt/police an excuse to seize devices from sex workers, who are largely left-wing and queer

abdul el-sayed would last about 14 seconds in the labour party before they kicked him out
When you vilify, smear and demonise good people who refuse to let your hate define them, other good people don't stand by.
They stand up and vote for hope over fear.
Congratulations @AbdulElSayed 🎉

and if you started using the r-word again in the last 2-4 years? that's right. 25 to life, bench trial. and the judge presiding has pronouns you never heard in your life

This is a horrible story that makes me wonder if anyone who graduated from one of Canada's top business schools with really good grades ever did a deep dive into communication issues between co-pilots that might explain why something like this might occur
30 year pilot here. Texting her boyfriend had no bearing on her job at all. She was the copilot and doing her job well- running the communications with ATC- The 55 yo Captain/pilot chose the route and altitude which sealed their fate. She realized the tail section was gone from ice, stall, overspeed and she was riding a lawn dart to the ground at 600mph and nothing she could do about it and informed the captain. They fell for 60 seconds and she knew they were flying dead. I wonder how your judgmental pussy ass would handle it. Tell us how brave you are you pathetic cunt.

How do you expect the courts to determine, beyond any reasonable doubt, whether airflow was restricted for the purposes of the Act in cases where evidence does not clearly depict it?
Do you expect individuals to monitor oxygen saturation levels during the proceedings?
Replying to @CobaltCherry
That is how most of the law works - it is up to the courts to determine whether airflow has been restricted for the purposes of the Act. It is the same with ABH and GBH - the courts have discretion to interpret the law to ensure that it is applied fairly to the facts of the case.
