PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF SIANG MULTIPURPOSE PROJECT: 🙏 China laid the foundation stone for Construction in lower reaches of Yarlung Tsangpo River in 2025 - this dam poses grave threat to India and Bangladesh Because China doesn't share any Hydrological data with India. What are the implications of Dam Construction by China ? 1. Our river can dry up. 2. Sudden floods like Nepal witnessed a month ago. 3. More than 85% reduction in water of Siang in Winter. What India is doing ? SIANG UPPER MULTIPURPOSE PROJECT - declared as national project by Government of India 1. Our proposed dam height is 1.7 × times than Chinese dam. 2. Our dam will stop sudden floods 3. Our dam will be used for water supply in Dry months. Nepal flash flood is a lesson and warning for India Thankfully, We had Gandak Barrage which protected Bihar from floods. I request people of Arunachal Pradesh not to fall prey to Chinese propaganda Because at times of adversity, they will enjoy and we will sob at our homes.
