Be like @carrycooldude and nail live on-device demo to a packed room 🫡
Inspired by @carrycooldude over the weekend.
I started building building a small voice assistant for an ESP32.
Compressed the wake-word model 8x with Qualcomm's AIMET: naive 4-bit rounding lost 3.7% accuracy, AIMET's AdaRound got it back 👏🏻
The wake word is spoken by @GradiumAI TTS in 22 voices.

Everyone's racing to pick the best model.
Nobody's asking what's under the hood.
