A huge thank you to Robert Taylor and Red Watch from Coventry Fire Station for inspiring our Year 13 BTEC Applied Science students. Students handled real equipment, discovered how firefighters collect evidence for legal investigations, and asked brilliant questions.
Day 3 of the Spain trip and the students have visited the breathtaking Alhambra Palace in Granada. On days 1 and 2, students have had a walking tour of Malaga, visiting the cathedral, the market and the alcazaba. Tapas, teahouses and touristing their way around Andalucia!
The super-sleuths of 11C/Sc4 smashed it in the lab last week! Using top-notch analytical chemistry, they uncovered the true identities of mystery halide ions (Cl⁻, Br⁻, I⁻ ).
