New Yorkers live 5 years longer than the average American. It's not the farmers market. Nor the rooftop yoga. It's the commute.

In light of the AllBirds news this morning, any shoe company that could add an AI business line and its name would do the rest is @Atoms. One of my favorite shoes.

Had a great chat with Tony about my journey and the lessons I’ve learned as a designer and entrepreneur through the years.
Swapping "deploy" for "publish" helped millions of people build on @Replit. We sat down with co-founder & VP of Design @HayaOdeh to ask her about the design decisions that led to the platform's 50M users. Full Q+A → reachcapital.com/resources/t…

This feels like a dream come true since I started Replit. As a designer, I’ve always found it challenging to collaborate smoothly with my engineering teammates. For a long time, I imagined what it would look like to have a true source of truth that makes collaboration effortless. The infinite canvas didn’t just happen by accident. I’m incredibly proud of the team, and it’s been such a fun experience getting to work on cutting-edge technology while solving really hard problems. If this resonates with you, come join us in building the future.
Software isn’t merely technical work anymore. It’s creative. Introducing Replit Agent 4. The first AI built for creative collaboration between humans and agents. Design on an infinite canvas, work with your team, run parallel agents, and ship working apps, sites, slides & more.

Bombing Iran in the middle of negotiations, while starving Cuba, while genociding Palestinians, while threatening to invade Greenland… the US and Israel are the single greatest threat to humanity and it’s not even close. We are all forced to live in the nightmare they create.

If you think the violence you’re seeing has nothing to do with Gaza, you’re not paying attention. When you normalize genocide and a decades-long military occupation, when you normalize the mass slaughter of children, assassinating journalists, bombing hospitals, and starving people, there are no norms left to protect. And that was all before Trump. Until you can see the deeper issues of a system that allows its children to go hungry but always has money for war, until you can see the connections of how the brutality we normalize outside our borders comes back home, things will only get worse. A political and media class that aids and supports horrific violence against innocents across the world, will not hesitate to turn it against their own.

Renee was one of my students years ago. I held her baby. She was kind and talented, a working class mom who put herself through school despite circumstances that would’ve crumpled the pathetic rich boy politicians who sadistically abetted her murder God damn them all

On the right, a road designated for Israelis; on the left, a road designated for Palestinians. For the people asking “where is the apartheid?” here’s just one example of it:

The new plan is apparently to make as many people as possible as miserable as they can be made without blowing them up. And this will be pursued with the same relentless ingenuity as blowing them up was.
