Y'all are building with human in the loop too often. If your SDLC has humans in the loop, it's not going to age well. Models aren't perfect, but that doesn't mean you should give up and do things yourself; improving the loop automation is extremely leveraged work.

CapCut will soon be available in ChatGPT – built using plugin extensions 🔥
We’re excited to announce our new CapCut plugin is coming soon to @ChatGPT at CapCutWorldLA. The plugin brings CapCut's video editing and generation tools alongside ChatGPT. You can start with an idea in ChatGPT, bring it to life with the CapCut plugin right inside ChatGPT, then take your draft video to CapCut's web editor to refine, share and publish. By bringing the CapCut product you already love and use in ChatGPT, we're making content creation more seamless and efficient.

Day 16/ You can now cache for 12h in the API and for logged in users across Codex & Work we keep cache forever and you don’t have any penalty for coming back to an old conversation or resuming after a few hours and are now guaranteed to hit the cache.
You can now choose 12-hour prompt caching in the API. Persistent agents, like dots, reuse context throughout the day. You can keep shared instructions, tools, and context cached longer and pay the lower cached-input rate, even when requests are hours apart.

You can now automate recurring engineering work with team tasks in ChatGPT, like pulling together what shipped and what’s blocked every Friday. Your teammates can review the results and change what the next update covers, so you don’t have to maintain it on your own.

We still haven't seen the ceiling of computer use. Not even close. 99% of the people I've shown "record a skill" to had no idea the feature existed. Any tool you pay for that has no API is now something an AI agent can learn to operate. Try this: take the most boring 20-minute browser task you do every week (preferably medium value, zero-to-low risk) and hand it to a computer use agent (I prefer Codex). Record a skill for it. Watch it run 1-3 times and give it edits. Run it again next month and compare.

If your Live API app typically selects from a few specific tools, you can now use the new Decisions API to speed up delegation, while retaining the ability to use a full LLM for long-tail queries.
you can now use native decision delegation in your voice app. a week ago i wrote this voice x decision doc. today i update the guide because now it is miles better you can trigger a decision on every input or output frame (roughly every 200ms). you can have a realtime decision engine judging what i’m saying while i’m still saying it!! try realtime action × realtime voice 👇 developers.openai.com/api/do…

We're expanding access to GPT-Rosalind for academic research. The new Rosalind Academic Plan helps scientific labs bring AI into the work of understanding biology, exploring ideas, and deciding what to test next—with sponsored access for eligible labs at U.S. universities. Academic research starts with questions whose impact may take years to impact human health.
