This is the worst summer I’ve ever witnessed in my life. Except for the India series, he has looked clueless all season. Even against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, he failed to make runs. The change is obvious, and it’s clearly affecting his mindset too.

Temba Bavuma is repeating our boy Ollie Pope’s 2024 India tour campaign.

Every clip I come across makes it look like they just swing bat as hard as possible and slog the ball straight. Meanwhile cricket has so many different shots each requiring different skills and techniques. The difference in batting skills between the two is just insane.

There’s no way these Bazball fans actually think they can compete with cricketers in fielding and athleticism.

Not a glory hunter chasing stats & trophies. I'll always be proud of Root for never making his country ashamed on the world stage by crying at a press conference and admitting his crime. The world will remember him as a one of kind humble cricketer not an arrogant cheating bitch.

Steve Smith in SENA since 2020: 652 runs @ 27, just 2 centuries Blud has been struggling for years and people still act like he’s untouchable

Fab Four’s lowest averages in a single country Joe Root: 38 in Australia* Steve Smith: 35 in South Africa Kohli: 33 in England Kane: 24 in South Africa

The Sandpaper Gate scandal will forever remain a dark mark on Steve Smith’s career and now he’s failed to complete his redemption arc there as well. Just loving this ending.

Show me one fielder in baseball history who can make catches like that barehanded. xitter.cf/Rapidxd22/status/21096…

Forget about bouncers. Even if these professional baseball players faced just one yorker, they’d never stand on their feet again.

Any MLB player after facing one bouncer from Jofra Archer

Whenever cricket and baseball fans argue it annoys me so much. Baseball players can't simply switch to cricket, but cricketers can adapt to baseball. Cricket has 15–17 delivery variations unpredictable movement and barehanded catches. That makes cricket infinitely harder.

People who think baseball is tougher than cricket

Baseball fans: “Cricketers can only dream of playing our deliveries.” Meanwhile Buttler and Hales:

It’s literally a full toss with no Run Up you idiot.

Phil Salt is the gold standard for ODI openers worldwide.

This tri-series Shows Archer’s importance and shuts up those calling him overrated and a fraud. Without him England failed to defend 430 and let Pakistan recover from 150-8. This bowling attack is carried by Jofra, and he deserves huge credit for England’s recent home success.

Win Rate in Pakistan as England Captain Since 2023 Ollie Pope: 1/1 | 100% Jos Buttler: 0/3 | 0% Harry Brook: 0/3 | 0% Ben Stokes: 0/2 | 0% Ollie Pope clears them all 🗿🔥
