You could remove the firing pin, weld a plug in the barrel, and completely disconnect the trigger from the rest of the mechanism and you'd still get people clutching their pearls at having your finger on the trigger. Gunko pop collectors are a deeply unserious people

For context, every other picture I've seen of him when he was younger he's using decent gun safety. He was in his late 80s or early 90s when that picture was taken. Likely was an extra factor. Using one picture of him and saying "he's smart and he did it so should I" is crazy.
