I was happy to join CBC on the coast for a panel interview yesterday to explain what it’s like being a young candidate in the upcoming provincial election.

Blue #Burnaby 🔵 has been a long time coming!
Incredibly proud of my friend David Xie and his team, who knocked on countless doors to make this happen.
Burnaby South–Metrotown will be well served by a true champion of his community. – at Burnaby, British Columbia
I want to extend a massive thank you to the voters of Burnaby North for entrusting me with their confidence. I aim to deliver the needed change to our community as your new MLA.
A warm thank you as well to my team who helped bring us over the finish line. Against steep opposition, we managed to prevail. For that, you have my eternal gratitude.
I eagerly look to the years ahead as our majority government delivers on our campaign promises. I see a brighter future for Burnaby North and all of British Columbia.
Thank you again.

Change is coming to British Columbia.

Vote Conservative.

The Conservative Party of BC stands for a strong and united Canada. Always.
David Eby questioning my patriotism is shameful. Invoking soldiers we lost this weekend in an attempt to save his own job is beyond the pale.
This is a desperate distraction from his record.
While David Eby once again tries to divide British Columbians, we are focussed on uniting to get BC back on track.
Time to stand up for families which the NDP have failed to do.
David Eby let BC kids and families fall behind. Conservatives have a plan to fix it.
✅ No phones in school.
✅ No child goes hungry at school.
✅ Up to $500 per child for sports, rec, music, arts and camps.
✅ The Autism Funding Program extended, so no family loses support.
Every child deserves a chance to learn, to play and to thrive.
Childcare shouldn’t be another struggle for families in Burnaby North.
Parents need affordable, accessible childcare close home, and children deserve a safe place to learn and grow.

Healthcare delays have real consequences for Burnaby residents.
We need accountability, shorter wait times, and better access to care.

Watch Lorne's plan for addressing the wave of crime & social disorder that David Eby has overseen in our province.
Of course, once again, David Eby can't defend his record when asked.

Watch Lorne's prescription for healthcare.
"I want a fully public system that everyone in this province can access."

Lorne: "Nobody believes you anymore, Mr. Eby...you've had a decade...people don't believe you anymore."

Lorne makes the case for supercharging BC's economy and cutting red tape to reverse the NDP's healthcare crisis.
"I will fully fund healthcare in this province."

Just now, David Eby confirms that he has his kids in $10/day taxpayer-subsidized daycare.
Approx. only 10% of BC daycare spots offer $10/day daycare. Most families who want in can't get a spot.
As Premier, Eby earns $227k/year. Eby's wife is a doctor. Their household income is likely well over half a million dollars per year.
We don't resent British Columbians who are successful (we want more people to succeed).
But where there are wait lists, surely a wealthy family like Eby's shouldn't be taking advantage of $10/day daycare. Think about a working single mother? David Eby deserves the spot more than her?
VANCOUVER, B.C. - In another predictable about-face, the BC NDP are promising to uncut projects cut by David Eby just months ago. In his most recent budget, the former premiere paused funding to 7 long term care homes. Now, in the midst of an already-expensive snap election, he wants you to think he's changed his mind.
We deserve better than a cynical politician who makes cuts when it matters, and then promises the opposite to save a floundering campaign. Today's promise is just the latest in a long line he can't possibly deliver on.
