Granny caught her Gen Z granddaughter engaging in horizontal engineering with her boyfriend in their palatial home. Shosh became furious and ordered her to leave the house. However, the agitated girl grabbed a knife and killed her grandmother. When the girl's mother arrived, she found Granny lying on the floor, bleeding and still breathing but struggling to survive. Instead of rushing her to the hospital, the daughter allegedly chose to watch her die, reportedly because Granny had refused to share the inheritance among her children. After Granny was confirmed dead, the mother allegedly decided to cover up the incident by calling the police and claiming that unknown assailants had attacked her mother. Unfortunately for them, the neighbours' CCTV cameras captured part of what had transpired that evening. In a rather bizarre turn of events, the daughter who's a veteran actress, took to Facebook to mourn her mother shortly after confirming her death. I Say Unto you, FEAR THAT OTHER GENDER.

What if Manchester United secured 7 points from 7 EPL games just to show support for Ronaldo's Portugal exit.
Bruno Fernandes will drag us into a relegation battle, then save us from it, and everyone will start shouting “Magnifico!!!!!!!”

It’s actually the other way round Mr. President. There is a reason the right to life and the fundamental freedoms come first in the Bill of Rights. More than anything else we want to live in a free and democratic country because in the dark of the grave where you put Rex Maasai and Albert Ojwang, you can’t see shiny things.

One of the saddest things successive Kenyan governments have done to this country is not merely to weaken the economy, but to shrink the imagination of what ordinary people now believe wealth and success should look like. After years of weak job creation, heavy debt pressure and stubborn poverty, too many Kenyans have been conditioned to think the highest form of arrival is driving a Range Rover, washing your hands with cheap liquor inside a club, counting bundles of cash on social media, or flying to Dubai for drip and photographs. That is not real wealth, because real wealth is owning productive companies, factories, technology, land, intellectual property, logistics networks, financial assets, and businesses capable of paying thousands of people long after your Range Rover becomes an old used car. The danger is that an entire generation can grow up believing rich means looking rich, which is how people start chasing cars, bottles, women, designer clothes and airport photographs instead of ownership, production, scale and institutions that can survive them. It becomes even worse when the media casually calls almost anyone with a flashy car, a few properties or a loud social media presence a billionaire, because that further lowers the national understanding of what serious wealth actually looks like. Once newspapers and television stations start handing out the billionaire label like a nickname, people begin confusing visibility with wealth, consumption with ownership, and expensive lifestyle choices with the kind of capital that can actually build industries and employ thousands. If that mindset is allowed to harden, the coming generations will inherit a very small ceiling for ambition, because once society decides that wealth peaks at a luxury SUV and a table full of bottles, nobody is being taught to dream about building the bank, owning the factory, controlling the distribution network or creating the technology everybody else depends on. Kenya does not only have an economic problem, but it increasingly has an imagination problem, where poverty has become so normal that even the picture of success has been reduced to expensive consumption instead of serious ownership. What this all points to is a painful truth that many Kenyans are now operating from a poverty and scarcity mindset, where survival has become so dominant that even the national picture of success has been reduced to showing off consumption instead of building lasting ownership. When a society starts admiring the man with a flashy car more than the man quietly building a factory, a logistics company, a serious farm, a software business or an investment empire, it reveals how deeply scarcity has narrowed people’s thinking and limited their imagination. Until Kenyans begin to see wealth as production, control, scale, assets and institutions that can outlive the individual, too many people will remain mentally trapped in a small idea of success, and that is exactly how poverty keeps reproducing itself from one generation to the next.
