Woke up today to no network at home, it turns out the battery in the UPS has died again. Why it fails closed I don’t know, but I now realise that we have lost power due to the UPS failing more often than due to the power supply failing.

This is the first "proper" use of the Navigation API I've seen in the wild. Why is it so important? Any third-party app (annotations, monitoring, error logging etc.) are generally guessing if the visitor has navigated to a new SPA view. This API takes away the guesswork.
@hypothes_is has finally gained support for web pages and applications that do client-side navigation. We use the new Navigation API (wicg.github.io/navigation-ap…) when available, as it allows us to know when an SPA navigation starts and finishes.
My eldest son (8yo) has challenged me to teach him quantum mechanics.
