It’s disappointing to have to say this, but @CBSNews, this is a serious failure of editorial reporting. I clearly state in this clip that while I have not personally been to Cuba, I have spoken with Cubans who have described it as a dictatorship, and I believe them. To claim I declined to answer the question is categorically false. That is not journalism. It is misinformation.

This book is really damning for Kushner. It claims the UAE paid Kushner $50 million to get Rex Tillerson fired as Secretary of State.
Trump hates Abdul El-Sayed because he practices the Muslim religion.
OK, Trump is entitled to hate Muslims, but then why does he love the crown prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud who gave his son in law, Jared Kushner $2 billion?

🇲🇽 Mexico treats this as treason. Federal prosecutors charged former Chihuahua Attorney General César Jáuregui with "treason against the homeland" for allegedly letting CIA agents join an April raid on a drug lab in the state without federal authorization. On Sunday, a federal judge ordered him held in the maximum-security Altiplano prison pending trial.
🇺🇸🇲🇽 The U.S. recently laid out a path for U.S. security personnel to accompany Mexican forces in operations inside Mexico, the New York Times reported. The U.S. also requested closer intelligence-sharing with Mexico.
Mexico has repeatedly said that joint operations and U.S. drone strikes within its borders are violations of its sovereignty, and officials said that Mexico remains “adamantly” opposed to U.S. forces operating on its soil. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has also refused U.S. requests to arrest Mexican politicians.

Israeli government TV admits that its operation in Hebron, which has involved the ethnic cleansing of entire neighborhoods, has unearthed no arms. Despite lies that Hebron was full of terrorists, only one rifle and one pistol were found in a search of hundreds of homes. The people of Hebron are peaceful, and even the IDF admits this operation is pointless and needs to end.

Absolutely not. The worst thing the EU can do is repeat the mistakes of the Vucic era by wish-casting a reformist government that did not/may not exist. This change in government is welcome but the new Belgrade needs to walk the reform walk first, not merely talk it (as Vucic did).
It is time to open clusters 2 and 3 with Serbia, once the new democratic Government is formed.

Lana Nusseibeh, the United Arab Emirates diplomat who is suddenly being promoted as a candidate for UN secretary general, hasn't only lied about the UAE role in sending arms and mercenaries to the genocidal Rapid Support Forces paramilitary in Sudan. She has also lied and covered up the UAE role in killing civilians in Yemen. Some examples:

🇬🇧 In 18th-century London, dictionary-maker Samuel Johnson adored his cat Hodge. He personally bought oysters for him, rather than send his servants.
Today, a bronze statue of Hodge sits on a dictionary beside oyster shells outside Johnson’s former home in Gough Square.

The U.S. has drafted a resolution to be placed before the UN Security Council next week that would effectively impose Morocco’s autonomy plan on the people of Western Sahara, essentially endorsing Morocco’s illegal annexation of that occupied nation it invaded with U.S. support in 1975. This is one of the most serious attempts to undermine international law since the founding of the United Nations.
It removes the longstanding mandate of MINURSO, the UN peacekeeping force, to oversee a referendum by the people of the territory to choose between independence and incorporation into Morocco, thereby negating the right of self-determination that has long been the basis of decolonization under international law. It will be a gift to Netanyahu, Putin, and any other leader seeking to expand territory by force.
It praises “President Trump’s leadership on conflict resolution in Western Sahara” despite his being the first world leader to recognize Morocco’s illegal annexation of Western Sahara. It also misleadingly refers to “the recognition by a growing number of Member States of Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara” when, in fact, only two additional states—the far-right governments of Israel and Colombia—have done so.
It refers to “genuine autonomy” when the Moroccan proposal falls well short of the international legal definition of autonomy.
It also seeks to bypass the Polisario, the internationally recognized representatives of the people of Western Sahara, and focus on what it calls “a broad range of Sahrawi constituencies and interlocutors, including those outside the negotiating parties,” presumably meaning collaborationists chosen by the Moroccan government.
Furthermore, the clause insisting that funding refugee services should no longer go through UN agencies or the Polisario, which has done a generally admirable job of administering the hundreds of thousands of refugees in their Algerian-based camps for fifty years, and instead go to “individual, voluntary” solutions will likely result in a humanitarian crisis.
Despite the legal fiction that there has been an ongoing process towards a referendum or a ceasefire to monitor, most nations see MINURSO’s continuation as important to underscore that the conflict remains unresolved.
There will certainly be objections from Pakistan, China, Russia, and perhaps some other countries which could result in changes in the language before it is put to a formal vote. However, with Washington’s history of running roughshod over international legal precedent and the failure of even democratic nations to consistently stand up to Trump’s bullying (particularly on what are considered less-consequential issues), it is hard to predict. Even if the full text isn’t accepted, the Trump administration may succeed in its primary goal is to make the Morocco’s autonomy proposal, which falls way short of the international definition of autonomy and would rule out the option of independence which is required for real decolonization, recognized by the United Nations as the only basis of future negotiations.
