ALT Text explanation for The Shirt 2025 design The front boasts a gothic script "Notre Dame," inspired by retro pennants. The concept infuses vintage Irish gear with a modern flair, sketched with bold, beveled colors and gestural lines. Woven into the text, a series of arrows record "The Play," a blocked two-point conversion which cemented the Irish's 1988 victory over Miami en route to a National Championship. The back design represents the complete Notre Dame gameday experience, from trumpets under the dome to the Irish Guard, the Leprechaun, and the flyover. The player fearlessly charging forward dons a green jersey, a uniform often reserved for the most daunting matchups on the schedule. Additionally, the fabric's dark hue and vivid detailing evoke memories from night games at Notre Dame Stadium, including the first-ever CFP home football game. Together, in the stands, in classrooms, on quads, and in households all across the world, we sing the glory of Notre Dame.
