See my latest blog on why the evolution of agentic commerce will come from the product layer, not the infrastructure (x402, apy, MPP etc) as this is about consumer and retail shift, not just payments . blog.sumvin.com/the-merchant…
Every company now has an "agentic commerce" slide in their deck.
Nobody at the company knows what it means.
But it's a slide. It has a gradient. And a robot holding a shopping bag.
1/ How I infiltrated a Chinese organized crime syndicate that has laundered $1B+ across multiple exploits for Lazarus Group.
Posing as a client, I gathered intel that helped action freezes for the Feb 2025 Bybit exploit and attribute illicit activity onchain.
The internet shipped without money, keys, or identity. We built workarounds for all three: card networks, passwords, cookies. Two got fixed. Identity is still broken. I wrote about why it’s the last moat on the internet, and why it’s about to fall: sumsub.com/media/spotlight/i…
The test for real infrastructure: every participant is better off the moment it's switched on. Users get time back. Merchants get traffic worth converting. Legitimate Al agents get recognized instead of blocked.
Identity passes that test.
What portable identity unlocks: onboarding becomes account continuity, not account creation. Storefronts that know you at the door. Eligibility checks run before you apply, so you see real offers instead of surprise declines.
Flip the model. Bots don't have KYC credentials. They can't pass tier-one bank verification. Make verified identity a precondition instead of a reactive battle and the entire adversarial stack, CAPTCHAS included, becomes unnecessary.
The bot problem makes it worse. Every platform burns engineering budget fighting fake traffic, and real users pay the price with more human checks. Detection is a losing game. Al agents just collapsed the cost of plausible fake activity to zero.
The cost is invisible because we agreed to stop noticing it. 40-minute onboarding flows.
Password resets. OTPs. CAPTCHAS.
Abandoned carts. The modern web runs on friction we've normalized.
Cookies solved a problem nobody has anymore. They remember browsers, not humans. Are you the same person who shopped here 3 months ago? Are you over 18? Are you good for the order? A cookie answers none of it. So every site rebuilds trust from scratch, every time.

Incredibly excited to share the partnership between @MonacoTrading and @DinariGlobal, as we look to reshape global access to 24/7 financial markets.
Everyone talks about bringing traditional markets onchain, without considering what actually backs the token. Dinari solves that challenge in an institutionally friendly way, for investors around the world.
We're excited to partner with Dinari as they make tokenized U.S. equities accessible globally, powered by @Circle's @USDC.
This is a pivotal milestone for both teams, and it unlocks new capabilities for 24/7 global financial markets.
Follow them for updates: @DinariGlobal

Most AI agents can find you a cheaper flight. @sumvin is building one that can actually book it.
"Erend is a phenomenal tool if you want to do something like book travel. High-value discretion, we spend with dynamic pricing. Because the key is I've already got your identity."
"I want to book this flight, but I don't want to pay more than $700. If you find it in the next six hours on Friday afternoon, to Chicago, please book me this flight. And Erend can sit there and if it finds it for you, it will book it."

Time to get behind this and support small business owners like @JensenHuang .
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.
