This is a roadmap to delivering all of ST3 without decades of delay. If not this, then Sound Transit and the board must come up with another approach that delivers the full system with out scope cuts or decade long deferrals.

Different projects Different states Same failure
@SoundTransit $35B shortfall, Interstate Bridge Replacement estimate doubling, CA High-Speed Rail. Lots of small decisions add up to something catastrophic.

Imagine if DC was granted statehood when the Dems controlled the house, senate and presidency.
Per the @DailyCaller, @Rep_Clyde is planning to revive his attempts to repeal D.C. home rule next year. He also thinks that D.C. shouldn't get to pass any local bills unless Congress explicitly approves. Currently, Congress has a limited period to disapprove D.C. bills.
This should raise massive alarm bells. Expected a Science of Reading for math coming soon.
🚨U.S. MATH SCORES REVEAL TROUBLING TREND: TOP STUDENTS SOAR WHILE OTHERS FALL BEHIND
Latest TIMSS data shows America's unique education crisis: while top performers maintain or improve their scores, lower-performing students have fallen dramatically since 2011.
The gap between top and bottom students in 4th-grade math has widened by 50 points—equivalent to two years of learning.
This isn't a global trend or just pandemic fallout.
The U.S. leads all studied nations in growing achievement gaps across both math and science, suggesting a distinctly American problem that's leaving our most vulnerable students further behind.

Great research by @CrescendoEdGrp on inconsistency in grading and the impacts of students - 60% of grade are inaccurate.

"You missed two classes, and no homework..." Even the @beastieboys understood the value of formative assessments!
Great article by @DavidPBLRoss on the distinctions/commonalities between homework and formative assessments. Long story short - frequent, low stakes assessments and timely feedback is really great for students & really hard for teachers.

Whenever I see someone use the term “late stage capitalism” I wonder if people in the Middle Ages had the foresight to call them the Middle Ages. Or maybe calling it “late stage” could be premature.

Anyone in a start up right now is earning "Narrative Equity" Great thing about NE is that it vests immediately, cannot be revoked, the strike price is only mental and the tax implications are purely emotional.
When @SoundTransit thinks about how to implement some of the cost savings recommended by their panel. No need to look to Europe. The @cta built an above ground station downtown without shutting down service for $75M. Doesn't look to shabby either transitchicago.com/washingto….
