Here is my entry for #DivineAnarchy's #FusionFriday competition! There are just too many dope traits to only create & choose one fusion but these are some of my favorites traits and color palette.. Today, we drop Aletheia's origin story! ⚔️ (This story was created for stage 2 of @divineanarchy's character creation competition) The Past In the period preceding the Great Cataclysm, Aletheia had observed the gradual deterioration of social cohesion and trust among the Xanthan bloodlines. What were once cozy fireside chats gradually devolved into heated and contentious exchanges, typically stemming from ideological differences regarding the powers and principalities of the time. Political and economic instability had sown discord that would only intensify as time passed and though Aletheia meditated and prayed for the division among her fellow Xanthans to cease, her prayers fell on deaf ears. The resulting conflicts led to the outbreak of war among the bloodlines, drawing The Creator's disapproval and dissatisfaction as great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences manifested throughout the realm. Xantha had transformed into a land marked by distress and peril, with Aletheia identifying only a small group of individuals in whom she could trust and confide. One of the few individuals in whom Aletheia could confide was her sister, Doxa. Doxa was a philosophical, capable, and resourceful luminary who had done her best to restore justice and humility to the realm. The quandary lay in the fact that Doxa was also the commander of a rebel militia, which had been conducting black-market business in efforts to circumvent and undermine an oppressive government regime. These operations and dealings eventually placed Doxa in a precarious predicament, compelling her to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect her younger sister, Aletheia. Following the loss of her sister, a deep sorrow settled within Aletheia's soul. After witnessing such extreme displays of irrationality and barbarity, Aletheia's perspective of others underwent a radical shift. She came to the conclusion that her remaining bonds needed to be severed. Disheartened, she departed her home of Agartha to embark on her journey as a lone Agarthian. Artist 🎨: @AntonSugar90 🙌
