If your response to the Hantavirus, and the Ebola outbreak are to immediately turn up the denial, to start demeaning people who are sharing information, and to attack proven mitigation strategies like masking, then I’m sorry to say but you are the one who is panicking.
Sharing info and preparing when there are obvious threats present, regardless of what kind of threats those may be, does not mean someone is panicking.
Prepared people don’t panic, they acknowledge the threat and get ready for it, just in case.
