Pre determined KPI’s associated to their role. It all means that the wider game means nothing compared to hitting targets to hit personal milestones for the year. The ECB don’t have the required knowledge or interest to save the game, only themselves

They have zero visibility over what the game needs. Too long spent box ticking in regards to recruitment means people without required knowledge in post, and ultimately a culture of “do enough to earn your bonus” has taken hold. This bonuses not based on the wider game, only on

The ECB has so much to answer for. The guardians of the game are the ones guilty of killing the game it’s supposed to protect. The game is being run by people who know nothing of the game. No protection or help for brands or brand owners (I am one) despite multiple challenges…..

England faced 4 other top 10 ranked sides in the T20 WC, only beating WI… Soundly beaten by Australia and South Africa, hammered by India. Reaching the semi finals shouldn’t detract from a leadership duo who aren’t up to it. Time for change. #MottlerOut @tobytarrant
