The Luka Doncic debate: On the night that a rookie declared a lack of respect for the Lakers star, and a week after GMs left him off their (top five) MVP predictions, I went deeper on this topic with Draymond Green and Austin Reaves, at @TheAthletic nytimes.com/athletic/7713473…

The Luka Dončić debate: Is the Lakers star underrated? ‘It’s greatness fatigue’ (Gift Article)

"Anybody else puts those numbers up, and they're walking away with the MVP," Draymond Green said of Dončić.

we really need to talk about how removing Luka caused the mavs to plummet from a finals team to a lottery team, despite them landing a generational rookie.

Yaxel Lendeborg said he “lost all respect” for Luka Doncic after facing him tonight because he said Doncic was “complaining the entire game.” On his interaction with Doncic: “I told him he sucks. He can’t score on me.” Full soundbite

My guy hates whining and complaining but in his very first NBA postgame interview he spends it... whining and complaining. Incredible stuff.
