I spent a long time in "nice to have" marketing.
Esports, VR, crypto - All things that are experiments, but easy to justify cutting spend.
Now I'm at the coalface, driving $7-figure monthly sales figures for brands and I love it here.
TikTok Shop scale is unmatched.
Hey small streamers, when TikTok shop comes to Australia, you're going to be in demand - Brands are going to need livestream hosts. They're hard to get and need to be hired on their skill & attributes.
I'll be hiring a few, so keep in touch.
This is my client btw, Giftcards.com
We interview hosts, have them audition and pass the top 2 candidates to a brand for their final approval. These hosts are full-time on one brand, streaming 50-80 hours a month while managing the backend for the rest
Something has to change, otherwise it'll all be the same.
I've been feeding this information for years, feeling crazy while screaming it into the void.
Bought a car I always loved growing up, have been modifying & fixing it over time.
How's this for timing?

Had a cool call with a potential client the other month, until....
Me: What's your monthly sales?
Them: $200K
Me: Where do you want to get to?
Them: $600K
Me: How much more do you have planned to spend?
Them: $0
Me: k.
This is nuts - We've been doing a bunch more TikTok Shop live affiliate ad spend tests.
After I posted before about the 110X ROI tester we leaned in more heavily.
Hahahah, the scale on TikTok Shop is just straight-up insane.
Just ONE of my brands had 7.7K pieces of content last month; 5.5K of them were live seller streams.
Just finished writing a feature article on @ORDER_army and how basically no one has learned from its and others' failings.
We got creators paid $2.94M in May.
$2.24M in TikTok Shop commissions + $700K in upfront deals.
One brand alone generated 5,500+ shoppable videos & LIVEs.
Now scale that across 30+ active brands.
This is why I’m so bullish on social commerce.
Gaming has a graveyard full of ideas that sounded brilliant.
NFT gaming.
Shared skins.
Small cash tournaments.
Franchise leagues.
Different products. Same mistake. They solved business problems instead of player problems.
I wrote about why 👇

I'm writing an article about the biggest failures in gaming & esports that sounded brilliant on paper.
• Shared skins across games
• NFT gaming
• Small cash tournaments
• Franchise leagues
What am I missing?

WERE HIRING ACCOUNT MANAGERS. WE HAVE 15 BRANDS STARTING IN THE NEXT 45 DAYS.
6 OF THEM ARE MINE.
GAMING/TECH/GAMES.
Join the next wave of marketing.
Account managers need 1-2 years XP on TikTok shop, based in NYC, NC or LA only.
