one of the worst things about grieving michael is that a lot of anger comes along with it. he was treated horrifically by the media, the elites and even those closest to him. the fact that he’s not here anymore means that we can’t fix it. we can’t send him messages or letters, we can’t make fan projects for shows or hug him like before… that’s what i’m really struggling with today.

it’s june 25th here in the UK, so i’ve written something for michael:
Michael, I have loved you since I was in the womb. My mother used to play Leave Me Alone to make me kick and on my 11th birthday in June, 2009, I was lucky enough to be given tickets to finally see you perform in London after years of adoration. You were taken from us two weeks later.
Words can’t describe how much I miss you, as do we all. You were a light during the darkest of times for so many of us, and you continue to be our guidance and inspiration, 17 years later.
Your legacy didn’t pass on with you - it still shines through us all on a daily basis. Your message of love and healing the world is still heard and as fans, we will do everything we can to keep it loud and clear.
I hope you felt just how much you were loved amongst all of the noise when you were still with us, but I also hope you feel it now wherever you may be.
