The typical Zimbabwean male graduates at 23/24 with tons of dependants (read black tax) and is expected, at the very least, to have bought a car, a stand and paid lobola by 30, all on an average salary of US$400. Not to mention that as they date, their girlfriends expect them to take them out regularly, buy them airtime, fake hair, fake nails and other funny stuff. And society wonders why men are marrying late/not marrying at all. Be sympathetic to the boy child. He’s fighting secret battles.
