I keep coming back to the shade. Forests cool entire regions for free, every single day. Bulldoze that for servers and you trade living shade for dead heat #Environment

In the heat of the summer trees give shade and incredible drop in ambient temperatures. AI is burning land, animals and turning into wasteland. Tech taking down nature and ultimately us.

It's hard to believe that some experts aren't aware that El Niรฑos have a step-change (ratchet) effect on global climate.
El Niรฑo warming is categorically not temporary.
It is irreversible, permanent, forever.
El Niรฑo is the engine that heats up the planet in apocalyptic surges.
This might be the single most important thing to understand about our situation.
For clarity, I added the steps to the graph... via Mark Cranfield
Climate Ratchet to form a Super El Nino into a El Padre:
'This is normally temporary, which is why we think of El Niรฑo as an event rather than a climate. The intriguing possibility raised by Earthโs geological past is that the background state itself can change.'
El Padre: When El Niรฑo Becomes the Climate - by Peter Dynes substack.com/home/post/p-216โฆ
'a terrifying systemic pattern has emerged: temperatures no longer drop back down to the pre-existing trend line after the event concludes. Instead, the climate system undergoes a step-changeโa warming ratchet that locks in a higher baseline.'

What I find insulting is that many of the people running Google claim to be fans of Tolkien. If they were, they would know itโs generally not a smart idea for wizards of tech and industry to attack an ancient forest.
250,000 trees. Each one was habitat, carbon storage, and shade for the forest floor. A pause changes nothing for the species that lived there. This should cost them far more than a fine #Environment

Finland went along with it like UK and whoever allowed themselves to be destroyed by AI won't get anything back. It's been paused. Too late for wildlife and reason.

Successdlful day! No kill for the Devon & Somerset Staghounds at Dunkery. Usual disgraceful behaviour and cruelty witnessed though. Plus hunting and driving quads all over @nationaltrust Holnicote estate. No hunting for the Quantock Staghounds who were in court! @mendiphuntsabs

What is buried there remains highly radioactive. Among the contaminants are isotopes of plutonium, including plutonium-239, which has a half-life of around 24,000 years.
Runit Island itself remains uninhabited and has been treated as off-limits since the cleanup.

Spire Nottingham Hospital has confirmed that it has withdrawn its sponsorship of the Quorn Hunt's Ingarsby Chase following serious allegations arising from drone footage filmed by @NhantsHuntsabs.
In an email sent today, 20 October, the hospital stated:
This follows our exposรฉ this morning showing Quorn Hunt staff repeatedly encouraging hounds to seize and tear at a fox, before pushing the body underneath hay bales after one of the terriermen spotted the drone.
Whilst the withdrawal is welcome,
The Quorn Hunt's history includes a 2022 conviction for illegal hunting involving one of its huntsmen. That information was already in the public domain and could have found out with a quick Google search.
