This memorial to the Machine Gun Corps (erected just before the following war) is on the front of Albert town hall, at the top of the steps, and is easily missed.

For #AllMetalMonday, I give you the tin-built Church in the Woods at Bramdean Common, Hampshire.
Built over five days in 1883. 1n 1893, a Mrs Bishop left £2000 in her will expressly to pay the vicar of Bramdean to take services, maintain the church, and ring the bell.
