Today a family friend told me that she's going to focus her #cancer fund-raising efforts on #ovariancancer because #ovarian #cancer has been allowed to languish. I burst into tears when she told me. I wish that we could apply the principle of equity to how we respond to #Cancer

This just sucks. This disease killed my mother in 1989. I was 21. And yet, all these years later, the prognosis is still grim, and more women are being taken. It’s wrong.

I had a fantastic day today snorkelling with @EcoTreasures Manly. I saw two wobbegongs, a stingray and SO MANY FISH. If you have a passion for #snorkelling I highly recommend Cabbage Tree Bay. Now my birthday is done and done, and I start radiotherapy tomorrow.
