Today Foqos hit a new milestone: 10,000 reviews! Feels crazy to even write that. It's a huge achievement for any app let alone an open source one, and I can't help but reminiscence about the journey so far 🧵

Compute is incredible, You gotta sign up and try: supabase.com/compute
One of the most powerful features of @supabase Compute, that you only realize when you use it, is the direct integration with all other services. Here's a demo of a Durable Harness using Pi durable, spawning instances, persisting data, broadcasting status in Realtime... it's all there built with supabase skills. And a bit of @tursodatabase in the mix because why not

we made some changes to supabase studio and the dashboard should be way snappier now lmk if you run into any issues if you no longer visit dashboards because you do everything with agents now it's all the same to you

The direction on studio is just a joy to use on this. Get a token with clear permissions assigned. Massive shoutout to @wenboxie
You can now scope your Personal Access Tokens to the organizations, projects, and permissions the job needs. Give a CI pipeline or coding agent access to one project instead of your whole account. Learn more supabase.com/blog/scope-your…

I'm shocked, everyone in line at my local store got an iphone Duo, some people got multiple. They must have had 300+ in store stock

Why would a Postgres company buy a SQLite company? Come ask why. Turso's founder @glcst is answering questions today on r/Supabase
📌 Founder of @tursodatabase, @glcst is doing an AMA on r/supabase this Thursday, Oct. 22. Ask him anything. He'll probably answer 👀

DB connections is incredible, it also works locally and in self hosted. Hope folks enjoy it as much we enjoyed making it 😊
Your coding agent can now query your Supabase logs, and our skill points it to the signals to watch. So it can check your project for error spikes, security issues, slow queries, and growing usage. You choose when it runs. 🤖 Here's how to set it up → supabase.com/blog/operate-wi…

Okay you gotta try the new CLI. GAME CHANGER
People have been asking to run Supabase locally without Docker for a while. You can do that now. 🐳 Plus, every coding agent gets its own local project, so one can reset its database while another is mid test run. supabase.com/blog/local-supa…

Then came the flurry of hits! CNET, Wired, Lifehacker, New York Magazine all mentioned by app to help people live more analog lives. TikTokers, both small and massive accounts, made videos highlighting Foqos and showing how they use. Some had the coolest ideas for NFC tags. I even got a mention from @mrwhosetheboss, a YouTuber I've followed and watched for a long, long time. It was so incredibly surreal, I couldn't believe something I built was getting global recognition

I'm so happy and grateful for all the love Foqos has gotten, it's even bigger than myself. I'm extremely proud that its been open source from day one, never had any pay walls or in-app purchases, and has actually helped over 100,000+ people around the world ❤️
