|| ॐ वज्रपाणि हुं ||
Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this divinity by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either by work, or worship, or psychic control, or philosophy - by one, or more, or all of these - and be free.
~ Swami Vivekananda.
The Pranam Mantra for Swami Vivekananda:-

Meaning:-
ॐ नमो श्री यतिराजाय विवेकानन्द सूरये: Salutations to the king of monks, the wise and luminous Swami Vivekananda.
सच्चित्सुख स्वरूपाय स्वामिने तापहारिणे: Salutations to the master who is the embodiment of Truth-Consciousness-Bliss (Sat-Chit-Ananda) and who removes all sorrows and miseries.
पर तत्त्वे सदा लीनो, रामकृष्ण समाज्ञया: Ever absorbed in the Supreme Reality by the divine command of Sri Ramakrishna.
यो धर्म स्थापनरतो वी रेशं तं नमाम्यहम्: I bow down to that heroic master who is devoted to the re-establishment of Dharma.
Swamiji [Vivekananda] visited the Chhatrapati family Deity temple, Maa Bhavani Devi, and also went to Mahalakshmi Devi temple [at Kolhapur in 1892 during his itinerant days] and paid obeisance. He became ecstatic standing in the inner sanctum of the temple and prostrated before her.
... After hearing about Swamiji's personality and erudition, she [Rani Anandibai, queen of Kolhapur] expressed her wish to meet him. The secretary immediately sent a messenger with a letter to Swamiji. The letter said: 'Swamiji, the Rani wishes to meet you. Since she is not well, she will not be able to go to Khasbag. She will feel most obliged if you kindly come to her palace.' As soon as Swamiji received the letter, he made his way towards the palace. The Chhatrapati was always respectful towards sadhus. The Rani was impressed to see Swamiji and paid obeisance to him. She thought all the problems of her life would be resolved after receiving the blessings of such a divine personality. She shared her troubles with him and sought peace.
Swamiji said: 'Mother, you can get peace only by thinking of God. My Guru said that God is everywhere but He is more visible in man. Therefore the highest spirituality is to serve man and that is the best and easiest way to worship God.' The Rani was filled with gratitude to hear this and she sought 'mantra diksha' (initiation) from him. On the third day, Anandibai received her mantra...
After receiving mantra diksha from Swamiji, Anandibai offered gold, diamond, jewellery and many other valuables on a silver plate at his feet. Seeing them, Swamiji said: 'Mother, I am a begging sannyasi, I don't need all these things, and I can't accept them.' Anandibai was disappointed and began to feel helpless. With a heavy heart she said, 'Gurudev! I received mahamantra, and shall feel hurt if you don't receive any dakshina (offering).'
Observing his disciple's feelings, Swamiji said:
'Mother, you may offer a saffron cloth to me.' Anandibai at once instructed her secretary to make arrangements for it.
In the meantime, Anandibai noticed that Swamiji's shoes were absolutely worn out. She told her secretary to preserve his old pair of shoes and to put a pair of Kolhapuri sandals on his feet. When the secretary followed the Rani's instructions, Swamiji did not refuse.
Later, Rani Anandibai gave up her 'Rajmata' title and transformed herself to 'Mother of all'. She started a school for untouchable boys and girls of Kolhapur. She made ponds and started an orphanage for them. Swamiji's influence could be felt in all her work. Keeping Swamiji in her mind always, Maharani Anandi Bai passed away in 1902.

Shivoham: The Mantra of Self Annihilation
Before the vibration that birthed the cosmos, there was a Silence. Not a void of emptiness, but a Void of potential, a plenum so full, so utterly saturated with being, that it had nowhere to go and nothing to become. It simply was. This primordial state, the unchanging, the auspicious, the absolute, this is Shiva.
In the Sanskrit root, śī, it means “in whom all things lie.” He is the substratum, the screen upon which the epic of existence is projected. Yet, in the same breath, from the root śva, it means “to expand” or “to swell.” He is the dynamism that erupts as the Big Bang, the centrifugal force that flings galaxies into the dark. He is the still point of the turning world, and the world’s very turning. He is the corpse (shava) without the animating principle of Consciousness (Shiva). The name itself is the alchemical formula that transmutes death into immortality.
For the devotee, this is not a distant, benign grandfather in the clouds. Shiva is the supreme lover, the ultimate antagonist, the yogi who resides in the cremation ground. Why the cremation ground? Because it is the place where all social pretense is burned away. Where the final truth of mortality is laid bare. He sits there, smeared with ash, the ash of burnt corpses, the ash of burnt karma, the ash of the burnt ego, teaching us that the only place to build an immortal foundation is atop the pyre of your own false self.
His meditation is the axis of the universe. When the cosmos dissolves at the end of the kalpa, He does not flinch. He simply opens His eyes, and a universe is born. He closes them, and it returns to its rest in Him. This cycle is not a chore, it is His play (lila), a spontaneous outpouring of such absolute freedom that it borders on madness.
The Alchemy of the Name
To meditate on the word Shiva is to engage in the highest esoteric practice. It is a mantra mananat trayate, “that which saves one from the mind by reflecting upon it.” The syllables are a coded map. Śi is the seed of the primordial silence, the unmanifest potential. Va is the gift, the grace that pours forth from that silence to become the manifest.
The Intoxication of Devotion
To be a devotee of Shiva (Bhakta) is to be intoxicated. It is to abandon the safety of the shore and be swallowed by the infinite ocean. The saints who have walked this path the Nayanars, the avadhutas, the tantric siddhas, were not respectable householders. They were lovers who tore their clothes, who sang in the marketplace, who saw the Beloved in the outcaste and the temple priest alike. They understood that Shiva is not found in the pristine shrine alone, but is more present in the heart of the outlaw, the burning ground, the wilderness.
This devotion is not sentimental, it is surgical. It is the relentless chiseling away of everything that is not Him.
“I am not the mind, nor the intellect, nor the ego, nor the memory.
I am not the senses, nor the elements, nor the life-force.
I am not the body, nor its transformations.
I am Pure Consciousness, I am Shiva, I am the Auspicious One.
I am the eternal bliss, beyond the grasp of the mind.
I am the witness, the freedom, the absolute.
Shivoham, Shivoham
Har Har Mahadev.
The Sun is the source of all life on earth 🙏🪷
🚨BREAKING🚨: Scientist says the sun may be conscious, intelligent plasma clouds may transmit semantic information across outer space, and ball lightning seems to behave intelligently, mimicking biological life.
Rupert Sheldrake, a biologist known for constructing morphic field theory, which involves inherited learning across generations of species beyond genetics and epigenetics, says organized plasma might support a mind without a brain. He points to magnetic plasma filaments stretching between galaxies and describes a theory from independent researcher Robert Temple: a cloud at the L5 Lagrange point between the Earth and Moon might be intelligent enough to return radio signals seconds after transmission (explaining the “Long Delay Echo” phenomenon in the early 20th century at the advent of the radio).
Sheldrake’s other investigations into morphic fields, consciousness outside the body and “the sense of being stared at” have drawn attention from British intelligence. He has long documented the idea of “scopeasthesia” (the sense of being stared at) by subjects in controlled experimental conditions. He says a visitor from MI5, Britain's domestic intelligence agency, asked whether terrorists could learn to sense security cameras.
His theory of morphic resonance goes further, proposing that nature inherits patterns of behavior across time and distance. Sheldrake cites rat water-maze studies in which rats at Edinburgh and Melbourne began at the level reached by Harvard rats after generations of “training” to follow the correct route in a maze. He interprets this as possible evidence of shared memory. To illustrate how invisible fields can influence chance, he uses magnets to change the distribution of steel balls falling through a Galton board.
Sheldrake wants practical tests of these unusual abilities. He proposes a global app collecting reports of strange animal behavior before earthquakes, and is surveying firefighters who say they wake moments before unpredictable alarms. He believes he can construct a workable model for presentiment that may become practical for specific use cases.

Ahoi Ashtami is a sacred fast observed by mothers for the longevity, protection, and prosperity of their children. Celebrated on the Krishna Paksha Ashtami (eighth lunar day of the fading moon) in the Hindu month of Kartik (or Ashwin in some calendars), it falls exactly four days after Karwa Chauth and eight days before Diwali.
For the year 2026, Ahoi Ashtami is being observed today, Sunday, 1 November 2026, with the primary evening puja muhurat lasting from 05:36 PM to 06:54 PM.
🌟 The Essential Rituals (Puja Vidhi)
The fast is traditionally Nirjala (without food or water) from dawn until the appearance of the stars or the moon in the evening sky.
The Sacred Wall Drawing: Central to the ritual is drawing Ahoi Mata (representing Goddess Parvati/Lakshmi) on a wall or a paper template. The drawing must feature an Ashta Koshthak (eight-cornered structure) representing the cosmic womb and protection. Alongside Her, images of a Syahu (a hedgehog or porcupine) and its seven young cubs are drawn.
The Kalash Setup: A clay or copper Kalash (water pot) is filled, marked with a sacred Swastika, and set upon a wooden platform. Shoots of Sarai grass are placed inside or near the vessel.
The Silver Syahu Garland: A crucial family custom involves purchasing two silver beads (known as Ahoi). These beads are added to a sacred thread year after year. The mother wears this protective garland during the puja, symbolizing the growing age and safety of her family.
Offerings (Bhog): Traditional offerings include 8 Puris, 8 Puas (sweet dumplings), and Halwa.
Breaking the Fast: In the evening, after the Vrat Katha (legend) is recited and the Aarti is completed, mothers offer Arghya (water libations) to the stars or the moon using the water from the Kalash to conclude the fast.
🤫 The Esoteric Meanings of Ahoi Ashtami
Beyond the standard rituals, Ahoi Ashtami holds profound esoteric dimensions that connect karmic cycles, psychological archetypes, and deep natural alignments:
1. The Paradox of "Syahu" (The Hedgehog/Porcupine Cub)
The core legend centers around a moneylender's daughter (Sahukar’s daughter) who goes to the forest to dig soil to plaster her home for Diwali. Unknowingly, her spade strikes a den and kills a young cub. The mother porcupine curses her, leading to the untimely deaths of the woman’s children.
The Secret Meaning: In the Vedic tradition, this is a lesson in unintentional karma. The porcupine/hedgehog (Syahu) represents Bhumi (the Earth) and its fragile ecosystem. Harming nature—even inadvertently—disturbs the cosmic equilibrium, affecting future generations. Worshipping the very animal that was harmed is a profound act of cosmic repentance and generational healing.
2. The Universal Archetype of Ahoi Mata
"Ahoi" translates closely to turning unfavourable energy into favourable energy (A-Hoi – making the impossible happen). While visually mapped to Goddess Parvati or Lakshmi, Ahoi Mata represents Jagadamba—the cosmic, primordial protective force that cradles all living beings, both human and animal. By worshipping Her alongside animal cubs, the ritual secretly teaches that a mother's love must expand beyond her human child to encompass the entire living universe.
3. The Confession Matrix: Healing Through Truth
A less-discussed part of the Katha highlights that the curse began to lift only after the distressed daughter explicitly confessed her secret sin to the elderly women of the village. The esoteric secret here is psychological and spiritual: Truth is the prerequisite for the dissolution of negative karma. Internalized guilt creates ancestral trauma; verbalization and ritualistic community mapping act as a psychological purge.
4. The Star vs. Moon Mystery (The Cosmic Alignment)
There is often confusion on whether to break the fast after seeing the stars (around 6:00 PM) or waiting for the late-night moonrise (around 11:35 PM).
The Secret Divergence: Karwa Chauth focuses entirely on the Moon (representing emotional wellness and the husband's longevity). Ahoi Ashtami focuses on the Stars (Nakshatras). The stars represent the fixed, eternal cosmic order (Rta). Worshipping the stars is a prayer that the child's destiny remains anchored, steady, and radiant, even during the dark phases of life. If your family tradition dictates waiting for the moon, it aligns with honoring the inner mind (Chandrama manaso jatah). Both traditions are beautifully valid.
5. Radha Kunda Connection: The Mystical Secret for Childless Couples
For couples facing difficulties conceiving or experiencing miscarriages, the day is celebrated as Krishnashtami. The ultimate secret ritual takes place at Radha Kunda in Mathura. It is believed that taking a holy dip (Snan) in the sacred waters of Radha Kunda during the midnight hours (Ardhastri) on this specific day grants the blessing of a healthy child, aligning the individual soul with the divine maternal energy of Srimati Radha Rani.

Does the realized sage see the world?
M: Yes, but his outlook differs. You are the screen, the Self creates the ego, the ego has its thoughts which are displayed to the world like cinema pictures and those thoughts are the world. But in reality, there is nothing but the Self. All are projections of the ego.
Cinema pictures move, but try to hold onto them! What do you hold? Only the screen! Lee the pictures disappear, and what remains? The screen again.
And so it is here. Even when the world appears the jnani sees it only as a manifestation of the Self.
There is only one mind functioning through the five senses. There is a power working through them, and their work begins and ends. There must be a substratum on which their activities depend, a single substratum.

Carl Jung wrote in 1933: "The man who does not face his shadow by 35 does not improve. He calcifies.
The defense becomes the personality."
It's a stark warning.
If you spend your life running from your shadow — your wounds, your fears, your flaws, your darkness — you don't stay the same.
You harden. You become rigid.
Your defenses become your identity.
The things you refuse to look at don't disappear. They fester.
They control you from the unconscious.
They turn into the walls you build around yourself.
And eventually, those walls are all that's left.
The defense becomes the personality.
But if you have the courage to face your shadow?
To look at the parts of yourself you'd rather hide?
That's where growth happens.
That's where freedom lives.
That's where you stop calcifying and start evolving.
So face your shadow. Not with shame.
With curiosity. Not with fear. With courage.
Because the only way to truly improve, to truly grow, to truly live, is to integrate the darkness, not run from it.

In Bharat (India), we honour our ancestors during the Pitra Paksha fortnight and spirits on the Naraka Chaturdashi day also called as Bhoot Chaturdashi in eastern part of India.
Tonight is SAMHAIN, 31 October. Most people know it as HALLOWEEN. Few know what it really is. Samhain means "summer's end." It is a gateway between the half-year of light and the half-year of dark. On this day the VEIL between the worlds thins. The lower astral realms walk close, ancestors visit, and spirit guidance comes through more easily. That's why families set an empty place at the table for their departed. It's also why people wore masks (dressed up): so wandering spirits wouldn't recognise them.
The Church marked All Saints' Day (1 Nov) and All Souls' Day (2 Nov) right on top of Samhain, and Asia has the Hungry Ghost month. Across the world, humanity knows this season as the time to honour the dead. That isn't coincidence. The gateway is real, and every tradition found it.
THE TRUE MEANING OF Samhain is DEATH before rebirth. The harvest is in, the fields go bare, and nature lets go. It asks you to do the same: let the old self die so the new year can begin.
WHAT TO DO TODAY:
- Honour your ancestors. Set out a photo, a candle, and food or drink they loved. Speak to them out loud. Thank them, and ask for one piece of guidance.
- Release. Write down what you're done carrying: a habit, a grudge, a fear, a relationship pattern. Burn it safely in a candle flame and say, "I release this to the dark."
- Put out and relight your flame. Turn off every light. Sit in total darkness for a few minutes. Then light one candle and set one intention for the coming year.
- Listen. Before bed, ask for a dream message from your guides or ancestors. Keep a notebook by your bed and write down whatever comes when you wake.
- Get a tarot reading. The veil is thin, so messages come through clearly.
TLDR: Samhain is the night the veil thins. Honour the dead, release the old, relight your flame.
look at this. your brain is literally doing this right now. millions of neurons are reaching out, trying to build pathways.
they don't care if the connection is healthy or toxic. they just reinforce whatever signal you send them most.
if you spend your days focusing on how exhausted you are, they build a highway to burnout. replay your fears on loop? they build a fortress for your anxiety. they're just adapting to the inputs you give them.
but that's also the leverage.
you can redirect the signal. pick a new focus, force a new state, and those same neurons start firing in a different direction. they start building a new baseline.
the catch is repetition. neurons that fire together wire together. you can’t just decide to change once, you have to execute daily until the new pathway becomes the default.

A few days back, Prof. Venugopalan Sankaran Ji (@Gopalee67) from SASTRA University Tamilnadu shared a document with me on how the Vakya Ganita system was reconstructed step by step in a 2025 Indian Knowledge Systems internship project.
IKS division of Ministry of Education Govt of India sponsors these researches.
1 example deserves to be seen before anything else:
मन्त्रितं प्राज्ञाय
That Sanskrit phrase encodes an entry in a table of the Moon's longitude: 10 rashis, 26 degrees and 25 arcminutes.
The sentence is not describing the Moon. Its letters carry the numbers used to calculate its position.
Vakya Ganita draws on the Vakya Karana, a Sanskrit astronomy manual dated to the 13th century and associated with Kanchi. "Vakya" means sentence. Numerical tables are encoded in words that can be memorised.
The key is katapayadi, where consonants stand for digits, following specific reading rules.
Take mātula, meaning maternal uncle. Ma gives 5, ta gives 6, la gives 3. Reverse the digits: 365.
Devara gives 248, the number of days in the lunar cycle used by this method.
The phrase above is entry 243 in the Moon table. It supplies a base value. The calculation then interpolates for the time within the day and applies corrections. The words are part of a working mathematical procedure, not decorative verses around it.
Similar sentence tables support calculations for the Sun, Rahu and the five visible planets. Memorising a verse could also mean memorising astronomical data.
The manual begins by invoking Bhagavan Varadaraja of Kanchipuram. Its author presents the work as making Bhaskara's method easier to use.
Now to the project Prof. Venugopalan ji shared.
He and Dr. Shriramana Sharma Ji, working with 6 student interns, set out the procedures step by step. Their report describes correcting printing errors across more than 2,000 source-table entries and preparing an English-Tamil presentation.
They also derived reverse procedures for the Sun, Moon and Rahu: starting with a given longitude and working back to a date. The original gives reverse procedures only partially for the five planets; these extensions are the modern team's contribution.
The report includes worked calculations, so readers can follow how the encoded words become numbers and how those numbers are used. It does not establish a comparison with modern ephemerides; the remarkable thing here is the method itself.
Thank you, Prof. Venugopalan ji again, for sharing it. 🙏🙏
P.S. Shriramana Sharma Ji has now done the part 2 & working on part 3, the final part of the entire work.
Source: Prof. Venugopalan S and Dr. Shriramana Sharma, The Vakya Ganita Method of Finding Celestial Longitudes, IKS Internship Project Report, Ministry of Education, 2025.
Photo 1: The worked lunar example: day 243, मन्त्रितं प्राज्ञाय to 10r 26°25′. This is the base table value; the calculation below shows interpolation, not the final corrected longitude. (p.32)
Photo 2: The decoding itself: मातुल → म त ल → 563 → reversed to 365. (p.16)
